All excellent information. Thank you somuch!
Well I’m sold on it. I’ll start incorporating it in my gardens.
That was very helpful and thorough! Thank you so much!! First time gardener here. Trying new things with my 13 year old 😊
Worth a subscribe
This guys voice reminds me of "Sheldon Cooper" from the Big Bang Theory show. 😅
Last fall I collected seeds from our butterfly milkweed, scattered them in 2 small pots and set them in our raised bed with a wire mesh protection from squirrels. Brought them inside end of February and what a surprise of sprouts. Yesterday I separated and potted each of the 15 plants from one of the pots into individual pots. After frost I’ll plant them outside. For the second pot of 15 I’ll skip the repotting and separate and plant directly outside. We’ll see which ones do better. Glad they’re so easy to propagate. Thx for your informative video.
Protect from squirrels? I didn’t know that squirrels ate a toxic plant. Is it true? cause I’m planning to propagate my own to sell and plant.
@@frenchpotato2852 Sorry. They don’t eat them; just dig around and mess the soil/seeds up.
@@dankeener3307 ahh, thanks, that’s great to note
It needs to be as available as tomato plants..
..why isn’t it?
You can buy seeds in a packet. I did, and they bloomed the same year until first frost.🌺
I truly don’t know, I got mine (it bloomed the season I planted it) from a garden nursery. But besides that it’s pretty impossible to find, even if a store does have it, it isn’t pushed nor really plentiful. Gorgeous and tough plant. All summer we had mid nineties heat, and no rain for weeks. It was the only plant I didn’t have to worry about in my garden
