In many of these Replay Stories Episodes, a big part of my Tales was how I just couldn't behave myself. Personally, I am a big fan of banter and rivalry, leading to a lot of BM in my Overwatch Videos.
But would you have thought that I'd come across a whole team of Leavers in Overwatch without even starting to BM? I know that some people claim that they get leavers in every game, and posts of Quitting Overwatch have been around for years, from the exact same people that still play every week.
Even with all my notorious teabagging and trolling in Overwatch, I never came across an entire team becoming leavers and having been replaced in a match.
I wouldn't call them toxic Overwatch players because it's just quick play and I personally don't really care, and none of them were even teabaggers- But the players that replaced the leavers ended up giving us a run for our money.
And that's what our story is all about. This, my friends, is the Overwatch Story of rivalries. Less BM Montage and more glorious battle against karma itself. Enjoy!

Today I spawned camped a widow as mercy, hid, then the enemy mercy rezzed her and immediately ran away, and I killed the widow again. This was in comp. I am ascending to new levels of troll
(FYI I was not throwing we had a leaver and were going to loose anyway)

an overwatch story:
I was on hollywood as brig. We were crushing the other team. A team fight just ended and the enemy mercy is running away. I pursue her into the street, spamming voicelines and I notice something. She sprays and sits down. She's given up. I can't bring myself to harm a poor mercy like this. I sit with her for a bit, exchanging hellos and sprays before whipshotting the point and telling her she's free to go. her mccree picks her up. The match goes on as normal with me and the mercy being buds.
Moral: DONT HURT INNOCENT MERCY PLAYERS

One time I was D.va defending in Blizzard world and we were dominating the enemies, all their attemps to capture were shutted down, in one point we kill everyone and I see the Brig running and alone, I go with her and spam some voicelines and sprays and she too. I decide to let her live and walk with her (crossing the objective), but then my team shows and kill her and that make me so sad :"v

Crazy Overwatch story:
I once was in a buggy game, which restarted every two minutes, so people left the game and some new came in all the time. I stood for some reason and I thought it would be a one-time-thing. But it turned out this happened all the time. A Widowmaker in the enemys team stood to, her and me had been making jokes about the buggy game in chat.
After like 15 minutes, we decided to leave, but sent a friend request before. Since then, we were playing like almost every day, we're texting each other in WhatApp and knew each others friends and family. It's been like that for almost a year until now.
Don't leave buggy gamey guys, you never know what might happen.

When I first got the game two years ago I played Hog just to spawn-camp Mercy’s. *now he’s my most played hero and I have his gold gun*
Legend says that new Archives Roadhog Skin looks pretty nifty with a gold gun..
I mean to be fair pretty much anyone who’s mained a character for 2 seasons probably has their gold gun
As a Mercy Main I must say... you should really get that psychopathic tendency looked at. I imagine Hog players at home mischieviously laughing just as him as they brutally prey on sugar fairies. How barbaric!

I leave when it is roadhog, orisa, junkrat, symetra ( or mei, sombra, doomfist) and of course the most hated healing duo, that steals all play of the game doing 50 damage and healing 30
And of course melts every genji, because when these 2 came out, theres no more fun in gengoo
Oh if I whined this much as a Mercy main. You must be one of the insta lock types who refuse to switch since they just wanna play their favorite heroes. I found other characters I also love playing with because they bring other great qualities my main lacks. As Mercy I oftentimes get targeted by those same obnoxious characters and guess what?, Whip out the Brig, surprise them since they thought you'd be a helpless little Mercy player and then bash their skulls in for underestamating you. Learn to play counters to the counters of your favorite heroes

I was playing d.va in qp on oasis and the enemy had a d.va as well, I got a 2 kill bomb and the other d.va got one, and then I teabagged them. At the end of the match the enemy d.va started text chatting with me and trash talked me "You think you can mess with a gm smurf?" "What an idiot" "You're not even gold" "Yikes man chill it's just qp, and you won!" I responded then I told my friends, and they started trash talking him untill he shut up...

I love these story time videos. They are so dumb but so fun at the same time.
You can only take it too far when you start to insult the player for stuff like their voice, appearance (if you know what they look like) or their personal life. Keep it within the realm of overwatch

My favorite story like this of mine was when I decided to mess with the enemy Genji as Sombra. I spawn camped him and it got so bad that during teamfights he would toss shurikens in the direction of his spawn to see where I was.
Honestly I'll randomly teabag because I'm one of those who likes the crouching animations. Recently started using more taunts...at my own team who always seems more dense than the thickest tree trunk

Genuine question:
What habits can one do to better cope with [feeling like] being the sole objective-minded player on a team? It's a feeling I get often and has gotten out of control; I sincerely want to change this, but I just don't understand why so many of my "teammates" clicked the Play button at all.
Has anyone here gone through this and changed their behavior?
What behaviors do you do to curb this frustration when this scenario costs you SR?
Not having as much skill as the opponents is one thing, watching 5 other people run circles OUTSIDE the objective area is another thing entirely.
Honest advice, please, as I'm sure I'm not the only one that needs this advice.
As hard as it can be , you gotta stop blaming your teammates..(even when it's legitimately their fault) look inward and see what u could have done better, eventually you'll get good enough that you can carry a 5v6 or a 4v6. It's just a fact that some people are trolls, some refuse to learn the game, and some are just poo gamers. Witch is going to cost You matches; just how it is. You can also try finding people to group with, even just one will help. Overwatch can be so frustrating, but just try to remember, that it's a game it's ment to be fun. Also just stop playing when you feel yourself starting to tilt, don't keep thinking "one more good one, that's all I want, and I'm done" you probably won't get it so just learn to put it down when the blood starts to boil. In the end it comes down to self discipline just play the game try to have fun. Hope this helps.
So let me understand;
I understand most of that, but isn't the idea of "get good enough that you can carry a 5v6 or 4v6" counter-intuitive to a team-based game and that I'd eventually have to UN-learn that habit? I've heard this piece of advice before, but it never makes sense. I'm not trying to be Christiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi over here, I just want to know how Wayne Rooney does it in Derby County.
Denying my "One more good one" is probably going to be my first step toward curbing my toxicity. No one's actually given me advice from experience like that, and I appreciate you trying to get on my level.
Really, the only other times I've been able to keep my cool is to have some banter with some of my mates (doesn't even need to be all 5) in voice chat. Thing is they aren't always on when I am. :/

@@Phun5tar totally agree that that in a Team based game You shouldn't Need to be good enough for 5v6...but unfortunately that's just the case with Overwatch. I forgot where I heard this But another way to put it is: if you want to be in silver you need to play at gold level, if you want to be in gold you need to play at platinum level and so on till you reach the top. Totally counter intuitive but that's Overwatch. Btw I'm totally guilty of blaming my teammates and getting tilted, i try not too but I'm not Jesus. But I have noticed that the less I blame my team and try to figure out how I can create more value to make up for value lost by "bad" teammates, my win rate has gone up as well as my enjoyment with the game. Trust me I get it, like I have no problem with losing. Its the matches where you basically can't play the game or have to put in way more work than necessary that upset me. Idk man just try and stay positive, and have fun, and accept that the majority of Overwatch players are toxic AF, and will throw games, and troll, I don't get it but that's how it is. Yesterday I was playing overwatch on my smurf account and I spawn camped the enemy mercy for the entire game until she reported me
apparently I get some good players on my team because they always let me use my mercy ult to do what I do best and dive bomb the widows or whatever squishy is in my sight including mercys who never fight back and the occasional mercy that will pop valk and try and murder me herself.....(I dont get how people cant headshot....all I do when being battle mercy is headshot...) stupid low ranked me with a low ranked mercy who doesn't know how to 1v1 since she got help from the resident mcree….I still got away from the mcree and killed the mercy and lived but rude to the 1v1

BM is fine, however, it is like a spice, too much, and you ruin the dish... for instance, teaming up with a teammate to spawn camp a zen to keep him staggered while the rest of your team works on securing the point? sure ok. but doing that AND typing in chat about him putting his balls in his own mouth, while also Tbagging and spraying aggressively? you deserve that full team ult that hits you next round, and yes, that zen did switch to ana just to sleep you and bm you for the rest of the game.... keep the BM to a single spice next time guys.... despite playing zen, he can be made very unzen.
