You can reach the clip from the engine bay easily if you go from above and behind the motor, just saw it today it made the unplug so much easier everyone! Especially if you are using ramps and can’t get in that far, still need to crawl to unscrew the part which is easy

Thanks, I'm doing this today on my 2006 Scion xB, white, looks like the cousin to yours. I purchased new in May 2006 3 months before my daughter was born. Now she's a freshman in HS! Think I'll give this to her in a year or two. ;)

I just did mine yesterday. 2006. Xb. I sprayed it with penetrating oil for 2 weeks prior to removal. Snowbelt car. It was a bear. Got it done. Car ran amazing afterwards. Now today I’m doing the Rear one. 🙏 lol
My Red XB has always been a lemon. The injector seals failed before 50K. Other problems too. In 2023 it has 113,000 miles.
I’m trying to fix that crazy problem of the 3 lights that come on. Engine Light, Trac Light, and another one can’t remember. Only ones on when it’s raining. Hopefully the O2 sensors fix it. Light is not on now. Drove me crazy for years. I thought it could have been some sort of engine grounding problem.

Don't guess what the check engine light means, just get the code read. No sense throwing parts at it. If you need a good code ready I've done about four videos on how they work and where to get one. Good luck and thanks for watching.

@@ExtremeDailyDrivers. There is no specific Code for it other than P0138 and P0139. So I just got done installing the aft one. Thank God for the O2 sensor kit I bought on Amazon for $32. I was smacking that low profile socket with the sledgehammer under the car. Finally ! It loosened after about 8 hits. It’s the original. lol. Will see how it works. I can’t wait to take it on some trips. My mileage has been about 24 mpg and I’m hoping I can get at least 30-32 out of it. It’s an automatic.

A lot of folks say this...and pick it up and repeat it.... without any real proof of detail design or manufacturing differences being noted. Often OEM parts are better, but when it comes to these sensors...I'm not so sure. Don't just flatly say "no, it's not as good". I bought a NON OEM downstream sensor that is guaranteed for 10 yrs....much longer than the warranty of the OEM.....
