OhhhhhMyyyyGoodness! Haahaa! We did that a few years ago for a Friend's Wedding! We did the same thing and just hot glued the "Broach Pin" to the Casing and then wrapped Jute Twine over it to cover the glued spot And I put the Little Feathers and Stems of Wheat Grass right inside the Shell (just put a little dab of hot glue inside the shell casing to hold it in place. - Worked perfectly!

I'm not gonna tell you you can't go that route, but it would be a tight fit and might end up looking like a Barbie-sized bud vase. 🤣❤ I think people stick it in the casing when it's a shotgun shell. I prefer the brass to a green shotgun shell.
