Nick, that custom run, Black Bonnet Dreyfuss is nothing short of stunning. The gloss paint scheme simply pops with the red and black contrasting colors. And, all the legacy features built in - they're incredible. Thanks for running and provided an excellent review!!
@@PghTrainFanatic really? I haven't tracked the prices on them, but i bought mine new so it wasn't too bad. Did you know K-Line apparently had a freight set for the Midnight Chief too? Discovered that when I was looking at various things for my set years ago.

Hi Nick, I love the Dreyfuss hudson with the black bonnet scheme it is a beautiful locomotive. I also like the AC6000 running in tandem. BTW, I haven't seen a tank car with colored lights before what is the story behind that? Fantastic video.
Wow, it's drop-dead gorgeous. Brilliant idea to apply the BB paint scheme to a Dreyfus. It's definitely a win-win-win for me since my favorite livery is the SantaFe, and I've been fond of the BB paint scheme, and the Dreyfus Hudsons. Eventhough it's a fantasy its done well and looks believable and I've always been a sucker for a pretty face. When I was a kid in the sixties, I built model cars, and I built a model of a Stutz Bearcat with a black red paint scheme. I always thought it was a very striking color combination every since. Unfortunately I can't justify the cost of any of the BB offerings. I've been wishfully hoping Menards would bring one out since they have cars and a caboose in the BB paint scheme. Pretty cruel if their just dangling carrots. I don't think they realize how well they would sell or we would have them by now. They would need to do more than lock the doors to keep me out. That is a great looking locomotive, and a great review of it. However, you made a small mistake. The PT tenders require 072 curves, not 060. I have one of the NYC locomotives, with the PT tender, and it will not go around 060 curves.
Nick how deep is the sound compared to vision line stuff. My vision line Niagara just sounded weak because of all the stuff going on in the tender I guess.
