I built an Aragorn deck and huge lotr fan. Looking at my decklist again and rebuilding and stumbled onto this vid. A few other things I've found are Mana Cannons, faeburrow elder+Noble Hierarch, also an Omnath, Locus of Creation for the lulz, safewright quest and trace of abundance are busted. Also Maelstrom Wanderer is so much fun since cascade counts as a cast mechanic which means that you get two additional multicolor casts which just leads to so many triggers from Aragorn from the double cascade. Working on both Aragorn the Uniter and Sauron, the Dark Lord brother decks.
As a mono green player Bill has been an amazing addition to stay alive until I can get my big bois out. Plus playimg a lot of creatures that tap as mana makes his second ability very easy to play
I feel like the single target protection in green is quite good with Tamiyos Safekeeping, Gaea's Gift, Legolas Quick Reflexes, Smuggler's Surprise (protects all your beefy creatures), Tyvar's Stand. And in regards to removal I have become a big fan of Pick your Poison which can early on snack a few mana rocks or value enchantments from your opponents.
Not having a Fertilid when already running tireless provisioner and lotus cobra is a miss. Those 3 with bill is a nice 4 card combo (1 being your commander) that brings all of your basics out.
Look into Bridgeworks Battle and some of the other new MDFC's from MH3! I absolutely love them as commons mostly and being able to shock them in. Also; Spelunking is great in landfall decks. I try to run echoing deeps as well so i can copy a fetch!
Do you have a problem with bill getting removed somewhat? May I suggest a 2 card combo of sylvan safekeeper+ drownyard temple as a way to have protection against things
Bill needs to meet Kodama of the West Tree, Railway Brawler and Slippery Bogbonder.

Just built arragorn in legendary humans. It basicly builds itself tbh, the mana base is expensive so pain lands it is for now lol
