I mean, the footage was recorded natively on PC, but the Quest version looks almost exactly like the PC one. Although, the game mechanics, features, and story are as important as the graphics of the game, too.

I am interested in the Jrpg Ruin magus I believe, not sure if it has an online coop or something. This seems cool but so did Boneworks till I played it for 6 hours straight. I had to force myself to try to find out what the hype train was about, after a combined 2 sessions at 12 hours, I still never got the ticket to board that hype train. Could be me, but big open worlds that look fantastic and interesting with nothing to really do in them but bash a few faceless things or climb up ways to find switches make me feel like I got hit with a hammer with a plus 10 to make me yawn on contact.

Not only is this one of my most anticipated games of the year, it is now the best trailer for a VR game I've ever seen.

Seeing Rift still get a mention in the title makes me big happy! CV1 imo is still one of the best headsets ever made!
Rift was my first experience in non-phone VR, too, so seeing facebook basically eat oculus' name was way sadder than I thought it'd be. Good on these guys for remembering the Rift. Hope it keeps happening.

My rift was with me for around 2.5 years. sadly the cable connecting it to my headset was so coiled it just crapped itself.
@@SturDur mine got this bug with the left eye where it would randomly go pure yellow :( currently loving my quest now, love being able to go from a quest game to boneworks or alyx in seconds.
When I saw this on my headset in September of 2022, I knew I would have a new life in this game. I love ford and the lore, it’s a crazy good game and I would DEFINITELY recommend it because there’s alot to do.
This game made my bones pursue a scientific career, 10/10.
I am EXTREMELY hyped for this game’s release. Ever since I completed Boneworks for the first time I was incredibly awestruck and absolutely wished there was more of it. Now that there is a sequel releasing, I’ll finally get that wish granted!

Boneworks got me into realizing the full potential of VR along with Half Life Alyx. I’m looking forward to this, really need more VR quality games like what SLZ is making.

I know a bit of color and music psychology/theory. This trailer has a tone that is quite unique and surreal. Surreal is a hard thing to pull off, the music has a tone of curiousity and unknown but also a feeling of what only can be described as surreal. The visuals also are very changing and different with caves to labs to the skeletons, it doesn’t feel familiar. But that’s probably why we love it.
We love this perspective! We can't wait to hear your opinion on this fast-paced game after launch. 🙌

@@Kaaos_ look at resident evil 4 VR, blade and sorcery nomad, the graphics will be downgraded yes, but not to the point where the graphics looks like you're running a modern game on a windows xp

The thing I love about stress level zero games is the gameplay and lore are both equally as interesting. I can’t wait to figure out what’s happened since Arthur Ford entered the void.
I think it may actually be before Boneworks takes place. All of the places seem less developed than their Boneworks counterpart.

Yeah that’s true but the Null bodies look more like Arthur now. Plus the new darker dungeon areas make it seem like it’s been left dormant for a while. After the damage that Arthur caused.

This is the first time I've looked forward to an upcoming VR. I got Boneworks February last year and I still boot it up once every week or two to play it. It's the first game I always recommend to anyone that tries VR, can't wait for this
Although I absolutely love the game, I wouldn't recommend it for first time VR users. Gotta build your VR legs before you start playing this without feeling nauseous.

soundtrack on PEAK as always, definitely makes the surreal atmosphere every time. Industrial mixed with synths and slightly retro electrical environmental sounds mixed with the old valve style art direction makes it nostalgic and gives the most odd atmosphere to boneworks and i adore it. cannot wait to exist in this universe for a bit longer.

@@Runter2_official Tutorial? Agree completely. But uhh... physics??? O_o The Marrow 2.0 physics, IK, & interaction engine in Bonelab (ESPECIALLY after the recent Patch 4) absolutely kicks the everliving CRAAAAAP out of Boneworks' Marrow 1.0 implementation!
Like it's not even CLOSE either!!! 🤷 The physics, player IK, and movement systems in Bonelab put the original systems in Boneworks to ABSOLUTE FREAKING SHAME!!!
This is actually why literally the best way to play Boneworks now is to mod its core game campaign into Bonelab so you can "have your cake and eat it too".

@@Jet_Set_Go It's more than just the story. It's the immersion and the level of detail. Like how you interact with things. The game world feels more alive and as a result you feel more like you're actually there. Half Life Alyx nails this down much more than any other VR game.

This looks absolutely amazing. It even looks like we will be able to download mods and access them from the game, if so that will be awesome.
Could be the beginning of a major whirlwind of awesome concepts being modded into VR via Bone lab. Amazing things have come from mods, hell entire games have come from them. Since AAA game makers still seem to be mostly ignoring VR, it's time for the community to step it up and make things happen.

So it literally references the theory that death is waking up, and realizing we're all one. Mentions it's like a dream, and how it's empty outside of our concept of time, as reality is "below" where home is. The subconscious knows the past lives, hence convening the memory. The cost is death.

Lol and that's EXACTLY what it ended up being. The narrative campaign obviously wasn't the focus with Bonelab (being only ≈2/3rd's as long as Boneworks' with even less narrative scaffolding), even if it was still a bunch of fun, but BOY HOWDY was Bonelab's mod support absolutely SOMETHING ELSE for the Quest native VR scene!
I feel for the longest time now, that VR games have been fairly average games, but just with excellent immersion. But with recent projects, like Half Life: Alyx, have proved that modern VR titles can be phenomenal displays of art and technological advances. God- what an age to be living in.

This is my TOP VR game. HL Alyx was good, but when you had to "jump" it really took me out of the experience. Glad it comes to pc because i own a Q1. Bring it on!

@@froggy3875 Graphics did actually look this good on my Rift S with a 3080 graphics card. On Quest 2 though graphics might look slightly lower resolution due to its limited tech.
