HAVING A BAD DAY? MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR BASICS RIGHT!

  • Very often, it's all about the basics. Think of these very basic, but very crucial, issues first whenever you are having a bad day. Fix these and you will find that the day has gotten a lot better, because these are the foundational pillars of good mental health, which eventually translates to a calm soul. Because, in the end, it's not about some fancy distractions like shopping, social media, binge-watching OTT, doing drugs, incessant porn viewing, et cetera. These things only provide us respite for a short duration, but if we pay great attention to just the very simple and basic things, a lot can get better very quickly.
    The human brain is incredibly resilient, but, just like every superhero, it needs its weapons too. Also, always keep in mind that the bad days, even the really disturbing ones, do not last forever.
    Stay happy, stay humane.
