Professor - the chinese army consist of conscripts, whereas India's is fully volunteer army. The Indian forces celebrate their matryrs openly and China had to hide 100+ casualties . Also the motivation in Chinese army is said to only survive the mandatory 3 year service rule and come out alive as most of the soldiers belong to single child families and are afraid of losing their lives and leaving their parents to fend for themselves. This situation is in stark contrast to India, where if a soldier martyrs a family even goes to the extent of saying their other sons will join the army to take forward the family legacy with the army. The close bonds within the army , camaraderie in their units is something which is very beautiful and strong. They enjoy immense respect amongst the population and draw young men and now women from all walks of life . The Tibetans , the Gurkhas (from Nepal) , warrior races from Maratha , Rajputana, Jat and Sikh are very famous for their skills in wartime and peace keeping skills alike. You have to only listen to Israelis about how the sikhs defended Haifa during British Rule from the marauding ottomans, Sudan and West Bank for their peace keeping skills . There is a well tended cemetry in Haifa and also in France and many such areas around the world where Indian forces have served with distinction. The Chinese, thus put their finger in the wrong hole- one which gives back shit !

There a lot that the world needs to learn from China but there are a lot more that China needs to learn from the world. The Chinese, isolated from the rest of the world for for a greater part of the 20th century, have become too sensitive, too suspicious, too didactical, too ambitious, too vainglorious and above all too self centred. Being sensitive they object to anything other countries do which may even remotely, appear to become a treat. Examples are dime a dozen but to mention just a few India’s construction of roads on its side of the border and the Dalai Lama receiving the Nobel prize has irked Beijing no end. When I say too suspicious any alliance that India joins like the QUAD or even improving relations with China’s neighbours has made China suspicious while China has trapped indian neighbours into a debt trap with a sinister intent. By virtue of its phenomenal economic growth and military strength, China had become a country for other countries to fear more than emulate. Taking advantage of this fear China has tried to dictate terms and make unreasonable territorial claims over its neighbours. This didactical approach has unwillingly forced countries to bear with the expansionist tendencies. Being highly ambitious China has tried to claim land, sea and control rights in many regions in contravention to International law. Examples land claim is in India and the island of South China Sea, Bhutan and Turkmenistan. Examples of claim at sea is the creation of new island in the South China Sea and laying claim on it, fishing rights and exploitation of natural resources along the nine dot line. China refused to recognise the verdict of the international court of justice that withheld Philippines claim that the nine dash line has no legal justification. China’s propaganda machinery has been on overdrive boasting of its achievements while a large majority of this propaganda is neither verified nor justified. Take their claim of building over 80,000 dams, 6th generation stealth bombers, disclaiming the origin of Corona virus from Wuhan and elimination of Corona virus in China are examples of glorification of their unproven achievements. Lastly they are rabidly opportunistic and ruthlessly self centred. China has gained the reputation of doing the darnedest of things such as cheat, hoodwink, lie, double talk, sweet talk, posture, threaten, misinform, hide and debt trap countries into toeing their line.
