Thanks Elizabeth. I have prayed the rosary almost every day for over a year, in fact since my conversion. I finish each rosary by praying to Mary and asking her to pray with me in giving thanks for the good things of the day and then praying to God the Father in the name of Jesus for help for others and myself. I have found that my prayers are invariably answered.
DeMontforts books and Never missing a day with out at least one mystery, 15 years now, She took me under her mantle and changed my life, I’m an outcast from most family and friends, which is fine, we shouldn’t fit in. I love her, what an amazing gift. Thank you Lord
For sure it’s assuring to know that praying the rosary when it’s hard is more meritorious. It makes you feel like our Lord and Mother Mary understands our struggles and cheers us on even things are not so easy going in our lives. Also I honestly didn’t know the benefits of praying in a group ! Thanks Elisabeth for your work.
A beautiful summary + review! I used to have a few of these books handy to give them away. I too can appreciate acknowledging the struggle sometimes praying the Rosary. The group Rosary is powerful and important to know. Thank you for mentioning that. You put a smile on my face when you mentioned singing the Rosary. I love your down to earth advice to pray the Rosary in the shower. I seriously laughed out loud when you told the story of St. Teresa. Thank you I needed that. Oh yeah, I plan to become a Patreon. So, keep up the good work!🧁😊
Thank you so much! After a year on UA-cam I finally have the courage to include jokes in my videos (like the story about St. Teresa) 😊 Someone in my parish actually gifted me this book, he also keeps some copies to give them away, just like you do 😊🧁
I’m new to the rosary and finding it incredibly helpful. I was considering this book, and your review has convinced me to read it. Thanks ever so much and God bless you :)
Growing up as a cradle catholic I found the rosary unattractive because it was too repetitive and I found myself not being able to communicate with God. Then this free style of prayer was introduced. Then one night I dreamed of a glass box full of attractive items but a Madonna and child got my attention. I try to take it but instead I found a rosary on my hand. Even after a big disastrous event came I didn’t pray the rosary regularly till after a week of restless nights even taking sleeping pills. Then I decided to say the rosary word for word in my head did I have a sweet sleep. Saying the rosary word for word in your head takes 2 or 3 times longer. But don’t worry falling asleep. Once I did and found myself in dreaming but like a different room or compartment I hear someone saying the Hail Marys the rosary. Which also mean if one is incapacitated to use your voice, God can still hear you from your mind. Faith should be practiced externally and internally. Pray not only with your words and action but with your mind using your imagination, hearts your emotions and feelings as you meditate and soul your willingness and attitude toward prayer. The mind is the hardest to control. The mind is like an onion filled with layers of thoughts. Or a book filled with pages of thoughts but one.mind.
I used to do that with my son, to keep him interested. I added new languages little at a time, and we only do one decade, altering the languages. When he became a teenager he preferred to switch all the Our Fathers, Hail Marys, and Glory bes to English. However, the knowledge stayed with him. I happened to be praying in a certain language one day and he recognized and identified it.
Lol! Love Teresa of Avila's comment to the devil although I don't think I'll be praying the Rosary in the bathroom....just not for me. Great review by the way
JESUS said the bread represents his body and when we say give us this day our daily bread I always think it means give us this day our daily dose of JESUS, Amen❣️🌹
@@vjiggy81 yeah I can understand it. I think they’re the “saddest” ones too. I was thinking about that last night - the names of each set of mysteries is very powerful. Therefore I guess the sorrowful mysteries are supposed to feel sorrowful
April 28th is the Feast of St. Louis de Montfort- the chosen vessel of Jesus to bring greater devotion to His Mother, especially in the latter times. Let us celebrate his feast day by praying his litany today and asking for a special grace. ua-cam.com/video/Gb7i3mW8KkY/v-deo.html
Yes merit is achieved. It sounds like just from your review on this Book to me personally (that the Pardon) recognized by that which all God does for us is the importance. I never heard of praying on the toilet before? Just kidding I'm confident all of us have done it, I personally had a surgery and I was praying. So it is reasonable sometimes. Keep up the good work.
Been over a year now, 100% better thanks. 15 yrs of construction by the age of 32 takes a toll. With the hours we take on it's the same beating as a professional athlete takes on. Except we don't get the professional meal plans and therapies... I was curious to see if I would get a thumbs up by the way🤣
Hallo! I highly recommend you check out the book "Humility of Heart" by Fr. Cajetan Mary da Bergamo. You'll be stunned beyond measure on the book's ability to target your secret pride. Jesus, Mary, Joseph

This is a great analysis! I love saying the rosary it is my favorite prayer- I place myself in the actual event and that helps me stay focused!
That's actually a good method to pray the Rosary, thanks for sharing Mr. Palomino!

Hi, I am finishing Father Elijah written by Michael D. O’Brien and I highly recommend it.
Thank you for the recommendation!
I really do love all of your reviews. I also love that you have a depth to your explanations not just a shallow review of how it made you feel.
Thank you! I'm happy to hear that!
I just found an old copy at an estate sale, absolutely beautiful. Thank you for the wonderful review!
You're welcome Mr. Sharp!
Fun video and informative! Thank you Elizabeth for the summary and review.

Father Frrederick William Faber translated the works of St Louis Mary to the English. It's amazing!

Hi Elizabeth! Thank you for the reviews. Could you please review Champion of Rosary by Fr. Donald Calloway? Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you for the recommendation!
Jesus is the bread of life!
I have trouble concentrating for too long, so to counter that I simply pray each decade of the rosary in a different language.
That's a really interesting technique, I'm just afraid it's not feasible for most people 😉🥰

What book would you recommend to help improve my meditation while saying the Rosary?
