It is not required. You can further outsource to small players. For example, in one of the nearby apartment the agency who charged 15 Lakh to association for AMC has outsourced to another agency at 12 Lakh (who have labor to manage). A profit of 3 Lakh. At the same time you need basic knowledge and this knowledge can be gained only through practical learning.

The facilities management services business is a great business and has two dimensions to it.
1) You can be a software service implementor who can configure facilities management software such as Building Management Systems, Fire Alarm and safety system, Electrical maintenance system, etc.
2) You can be a manpower provider for facilities management such as housekeeping services, etc.,
In case you are in the software implementation business
You can look forward for a few high value clients who are willing to invest in automation ans implement long term solutions in a phased manner.But know that once a system is implemented it would have to pay for itself before it can be upgraded. But maintenance contracts can be made out and steady stream revenues can be earned.Look for building a small and effective project deployment team. And a medium sized servicing team. Have about 15 or 20 accounts in a city and scale across cities.As you move forward implement an effective account management model that tracks account services effectively.If you are interested you can also try to develop your own automation softwares that help your client.In case you are in man power business know that
There are high cost pressures. Your client expects you to be legally perfect and at the same time pays you low. As you grow your administrative costs will rise without your client rising prices and that puts pressure on your margins. You need to take this. No way out.Workforce turnover is high. You recruit a janitor or a plumber or a fitter or an electrician today, he will quit yesterday to join another company for a salary hike of as low as 500 bucks. He won't stay if you don't pay him on his pay day. He won't stay if his girlfriend doesn't like your company. He won't stay if his dog barks at the wrong car. Hi sir myself Mousumi Das. Since few months I am trying to start a book shop but I couldn't get profitable discount from wholesaler. I am from Kolkata and as you know there is biggest book market in India. So people usually go there and buy books at a huge discount. I didn't compete with the market. Pls suggest me where from I can buy books at least 50% margin. So I can get some profit.
