I felt the same way when my father died last year. I somehow knew in my heart that he is gonna die although he wasn't suffering from any illness or something like that.. But alhamdulillah he had the most beautiful death on the 20th of ramadhan 4 june 2018 . While he was on his death bed the last thing he said my time has come and inshaAllah Allah will forgive me.. Masha allah his death was peacefull.. Every soul has to die but the thing is the void our loved ones left us with is never filled again , not in this world alteast.. May Allah grant us strength to go through these difficult times.
MASHA-ALLAH May ALLAH PAAK give him highest rank in janat ul firdouse Ameen sumameen.

I was also getting so many voices from my heart before my son fall ill. I started Astaghfar n increased in my azkar. I have started listening to azan n replying back. And asked my son to listen azan attentively n reply it back.
I didn't had idea that Allah was mentally preparing me to face the biggest challenge of my life. Ahumdulliah Ahumdulliah.
But one thing for sure that during all this process Allah Al Wadood Rub was with me Ahumdulliah.
My son got ill. I faced so many unexpected things at the time of my son's illness.
In short i was not disappointed by Allah's mercy n was begging him for my son's life. I was looking up n was crying to Allah. And Allah showed me my son's beautiful smiling face. Ahumdulliah.
But before this i was standing and shedding tears when the Drs were pumping my son's heart for the last time so someone whispered in my heart that why are you crying. Go n read Surah Yaseen n i picked up the Quran n started reading Surah Yaseen n meanwhile my dearest son's soul flew away 😢😢.

The Prophet (saws) said :“ Whenever a believer is stricken with a calamity (discomfort, illness, anxiety, grief or worry), even the pricking of a thorn, his sins are expiated for him.” [ Bukhari, Muslim ] He (saws) also said :“ When Allah loves someone He tests them, as for whoever is content Allah is pleased with him, and as for whoever is discontented, Allah is displeased with him.” [Tirmidhi, classed as Hasan]

I just remembered after the sadness will come the ease, while the daughter of our beloved prophet(PBUH)was crying, after angel Grabriel asked for his(PBUH) permission that the angel of death is here waiting to choose between his(PBUH) Raab or this world, and after whispering something to his (PBUH) daughter, she laughed knowing that she will have the highest place in janat-ul-firdos. Indeed this is a test of your faith, knowing that God loves those who have patience and perseverance.
