I love the hunting scene pictures with the men and women on horseback and the hunting dogs, Beleek pieces with cloverleaf designs, glassware with etching, nautical pieces, lladros and ceramics from Copenhagen.

I put it out to the Universe that I would find a Bombay Chest and I stumbled across one❤️😃 I won it on auction for $500, and it is from the 1800’s. It is my all time favorite piece in my house❤️❤️❤️ It has long been a dream since I was little to take care of such a piece😃

I am so freaking excited to have a chance to buy some of your paintings! That first (larger) frame made my jaw drop - a moody painting in that frame will be stunning! I also want to suggest opening up on Etsy shop and reselling some thrifted etchings and prints because you have a great eye and some of us live in an area with no good antique shops, and would be willing to pay a marked up price for beautiful art curated by you. Loved this video, as always!

The box could also be used as a bread box in a kitchen. And set it on the counter. So pretty! Love it

Hi Brandy. Love your channel and I love antiquing. I recently came across a UA-camr Rajiv Surendra as he was antiquing last week. Omg the joy I got out of watching him shop for antiques and the simple things in life he teaches us. The simple joy in washing dishes. Putting all his food in Ball Jars etc. He screams amazing. He does chalk art and has apprenticed with the gentleman who makes Martha Stewart’s vessels. His chalk art is simply to die for. You being the artist you are would be thrilled with his work and calligraphy. Things as simple as writing a letter and vintage linens. Girl I’m telling you. Got to watch him. He is aaammmaaazzing. Check him out. Doesn’t get any better. My daughter and I were just squeeeing with joy wishing he would just be our bff . Seriously take a look. Love you 💕💕💕

Those large lamps were so awesome! I have one of those antique dressers in my foyer and I love it. I was in Paris around the same time as you and also did not get to go into Notre Dame. Went on a girls trip May 1st-5th 2019. I framed a few of my pictures from that trip of a life time. Hope to go back.

I bought a dresser/entry table/credenza that has the most beautiful color wood and has a white marble top at our local antique store. It is old and fabulous and makes me so happy every time i look at it!
Nice collection! Maintain it with a moisture absorber bag for longer life.

Thanks to you, I've started shopping in a consignment store we have in Honolulu, and I've bought some incredible pieces, like a HUGE raku vessel, an Asian tansu, and a rather large wooden Lazy Susan. Hi Brandy! Have you ever been to estate sales? You can find a lot of good stuff , like ornate frames, for better prices many times, than antique stores.

You need to make a shopping trip to Alabama. The antique malls are much much cheaper than your area

Do you have any tips for not getting ripped off at these types of shops? I feel like some of the items might not actually be antique/vintage. I have a few neutral wood mushrooms I got from Jo-Ann’s and I love them but that’s all I plan to get as far as mushroom decor.
My Friend!!! Can we sop togethe? 😭 You know your Antiques and I love your strategy when Antique shopping. I would start at the store with the cheapest prices 1st just in case I can find more for less yet just as good as the higher end options 😉 I haven't been Antique shopping since options near me are slim to none but a coworker recently found an old typewriter in the office similar to the one you highlighted. Girl, grab it if you could style it or for a future client project. They are extinct and selling for way more than that bc they are hard to find. Someone can repair if needed and might be worth it. I think it showed so much character. I love the Antique frames and can't wait to purchase, own your pieces. One of your subs here suggested opening an etsy shop. Would you consider it? You can sell your oil paintings and you can sell some of your decor finds when you're looking to refresh your inventory. Those lamps were copper… I have one and the irony of it is that the top is a little off kilter just like that one was mine is slender and that one is more short and fat… But the way that the top is put on it is exactly the same…again those are vintage copper lamps And worth every penny!!
