FICEP has combined different capabilities to achieve the latest in large plate detail processing. The new GEMINI G43HDE has a special heavy duty configuration for plates up to 4,3 m wide.
The G43HDE is equipped with a high performance machining spindle that is capable of drilling, countersinking, counter boring, tapping and milling straight slots, special curve slots, countersinking, “Y” and “J” groove, and others. An automatic tool changer with 24 stations enables a full complement of tools to satisfy all the diverse steel fabrication needs.
The FICEP G43HDE can be furnished with an automatic chip extraction system to remove the chips generated during the spindles operations.
The cutting table can be furnished as a dry down draft system which removes the particulate that results from the plasma operation.
The thermal cutting options are numerous as both oxy-fuel and plasma torches can be provided to achieve speed, versatility and productivity when processing thicker plates. The Hypertherm plasma torch can be incorporated into a programmable bevel head to achieve both straight or bevel cutting.
The bench of the GEMINI G43HDE is made of a sturdy grid suitable to guarantee the stable positioning of the plate during the processing. The bench is pre-arranged to receive the fume exhaust and filtering system.
