It's refreshing to see such a "normal" lifestyle (this is not an insult). So used to see the perfect Starbucks 5am productive queens life on youtube that seeing these vlogs makes it more relatable! Love that you tells us the price! (7€ for a latte is crazy ahahah) and please that lunch really looked so sad! Oslo looks pretty in the spring btw! Keep going! :)
I enjoyed this video a lot, gave me a relaxed and calm feeling while watching it :) I'm always curious about Norwegian cafes - what kind of pastries, cakes, and sandwiches are there? I'm a big foodie so curious about regional classics :)
Thank you, I’m so glad you liked it! Hmm good question. We have many international/american/french inspired cafes that offer things like cupcakes, donuts, croissants, macarons, brownies, cheesecake and much more. We do have our famous «brunost» (brown cheese) that is a Norwegian specialty, and you can get it on sandwiches, Norwegian waffles and even as an ice cream flavor. And «skolebrød/skolebolle» is definitely a Norwegian specialty that everyone must try - this is one of my favorite buns! Pretty sure they don’t sell that in other countries. In general, we are very fond of buns here, and cinnamon buns in all shapes and variations are very popular. Typical Norwegian sanwiches you can get at traditional cafees are «karbonade» (similar to beef burgers but a bit different), and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, and eggs with shrimp and mayonnaise. I hope that answered your question 😊
I think in most countires they don't have a "pante ordning" on bottles, but the word pante equals pawn in english. So i think that's where it comes from, since you pawn your empty bottles in exchange for money in return 😀 I may be wrong, but I feel it makes sense 😂
I use Oda delivery too ❤ Just about to put the empty boxes outside my door, when I saw your video 😂. Recycling the bottles, I would say. Really enjoyed your vlog 🌸Have a nice week !
Me, 1st time watching your videos: why the heck does she need a machine to boil eggs? Doesn't she have a stove?? Me, 10 videos later: typing amazon, 'egg boiler'.. oh here it is! Add to cart! 😂😂😂❤
@@VictoriaSagely yeah! And at least one of mine always ended up cracking, because I didn't take it out of the fridge enough time before, and the temperature shock end up cracking them! But it is such a first world problem ahahaha

@@VictoriaSagely Ah it's so nice of you to type such an elaborate response
No problem! That's so exciting, have a great trip when that time comes 😊

But for people that dont have this arrangement in their country, they probably just call it recycling bottles!
Yes, I don’t think it will make sense for everyone, depending on where they are from. But recycling bottles is probably the most correct to use 😊

Haha, yes, I love using Oda! Are you Norwegian too, or where are you from? Thank you, have a great week 😊
@@VictoriaSagely No, I am Spanish, but married to a Norwegian 😊
Oh I see! That’s great 😊

Hahaha! It is useful when you cook a lot of things at once, you don’t need to worry about the eggs, and you’ll get perfect eggs everytime 😂

Thank you! Sorry didn’t know I could do that, I’ve turned them on for this video and will work my way backwards and fix my other videos as well 😊
English is my second language too and I know that experience of thinking how on earth do I say this?? all too well haha
Hahah right?! 😁
