- A joyous day today. Movie Memphis Belle sprang back to life. A throwback to when there were hundreds of these aircraft in Palm Springs at its USAAF transfer base. We are still working on the #3 engine but she took a huge step today in being seen in the skies of the Coachella Valley. A huge thank you and congratulations to our docents and staff that made this a reality.
What a sweet sound! Well done and I'm sure it took a huge amount of work from some very talented people!
It does my heart good to see her come alive again. She's a very special bird.

What was her original name? Curious. Will be great draw at airshows, like Oshkosh. Next, B-58!
