I am not really into closed back headphones, but I am glad that Sennheiser is making a proper option for those that do enjoy it.

A factory balanced option (4.4mm) is coming mid-summer, and as you mentioned the 3rd party cables for the HD 560S will work. Balanced is quite a treat on the HD 620S. Great points about soundstage for gaming and live music recordings! The panoramic soundstage is very much a front-row experience. Awesome footage and thanks again for spending some time with the new kid on the block 🎧

Why does the corner have to be in the ear cups? It presses on my ears, with the Sennheiser Game One old version that wasn't the case either

These headphones would work with iBasso DX180 player?
Yes they would. Pretty easy to drive, but they can open up a bit more with more power.
So do I need a $5000 AMP and a $2000 DAC for these to sound as good as advertised, or are they fine on their own?
No you don't need crazy expensive gear to power these. However, as I stated in the video, I do recommend an amp at some point to pull more out of them.
You should be spending that kind of money on better headphones before getting better gear!
Try Sade’s live album from 2011. Spectacular on these with that smooth, buttery, sensual sublime voice backed by the legendary tight band.
You not only feel like you’re in the front row, but on stage.
Do you need an amp for these? Or can they be run fine through my PC?
@@qw9 PC should be fine. I have MacBook Pro, but it has quite a good DAC in its own right. I plug straight into my iPhone as well. It works, but an amp would deliver the extra thump you might want.

Such a unique headphone, I've been loving it. especially for ambient/electronic music, the spatiality is downright enamoring on certain tracks.

Glad to hear clamp force is better than hd 560s , may be i will buy it
My biggest find with the clamp is the 560S pads compress too easy and creates more of a clamp for me. The pads on the 620S are more comfortable for me and make the clamp pressure much better, if that makes sense.

Will the Schiit Hel or Fulla go together with this headphone?. I want to buy these headphones for gaming and entertainment purposes on my computer.
These might require a dedicated headphone amplifier due to the high impedance. 150 ohms

@@KingKikikoi do you have an external Dac or amp, or plan to plug to a controller? If the latter, I would not recommend these over a Maxwell since Maxwell has its own power source.

Directly compared to hd569 how are they female vocals and mids are pushed in 569s to . Seems you paired them with a lot of shiiet
I've not heard the 569 tbh. Would love to tell you but I'd ask in the headfi sub forum thread on the 620S. It's very active with many perspectives.
Hd569 are absolute dogshit sound wise.
