not sure why people get all upset if a person doesn't like what they do. just (and this goes back to that "influencer" video that you made a week or two ago lol) ... I dont buy something because people i watch like yourself or El Jefe has them and likes them though i do take your opinions into consideration and watching different creators I form an opinion based in ... for lack of a better phrasing "reviewers i trust" ... Like how you mentioned everyone have different tastes ... well i like reviewers who say "I wish these had more bass since i am a basshead ... BUT if you like more balance and equal focus on the mids and highs too ... this maybe for you more than it is for me". Personal i like sound stage and a good BUT BALANCED V-Shape (even if not an "extreme V") ... I like a good thump to the bass even if its too much with say "smooth jazz" ... AS LONG as the rest seems balanced out. I am not a fan of (I think this is one of your phrasings among others) ... "sloppy bass" ...where even if its a good thump, it muddies everything else up ..... the opposite of that "clean base" that maybe impactful but "it hits and then gets out of the way ... hits on the next beat ... then gets out of the way of good mids and highs"
I recently reviewed the Momentum 4 headphones. I saw them for as low as $240! They are fantastic for the price. Although I haven't tested the Sonos Ace, but its hard to beat the Momentum 4's at their price. Also they sound really good. Great video! 🙂
You have the sound description of the Sennheisers spot on. The eq is next to useless, but they sound fantastic once you do the hear id test and tweak it slightly.
Soundpeats space is the best for me , normally when you purchased something cost super expensive you will try hard to find out it's weakness and some people will just post a thread to complain even just a minor problem
I did want the Ace and you are one of the very few who have expressed disappointment w these. I own Px7s2e and MO 4. When you said it lacked in bass then I lost interest in the Ace. I use my Px7s2e for clinical listening and the Sennheiser for fun. Don't get me wrong the Sennheiser's overall sound is amazing, just depends what I'm in the mood for. Keep up the good work. Love your videos
Don’t believe him. Go and test yourself. I have a pair of px7 s2e too. I just tested Sonos Ace tonight. Sonos Ace outbeats px7 s2e in every aspect. Impressive bass! He said lack of bass, I was like excuse me, maybe he just got a faulty pair?😂
Do you think the Sennheisers would be good for ears that stick out a lot? I've had xm4's for a few years which I like but get uncomfortable during long listening seasons
I have big old lugs, and find the Sennheisers fine for comfort. My soundcore q45's are more comfortable though, as they have larger and more padded ear cups.
SUBJECTIVE is what your field is all about and these nit wits don't seem to get that . If people pick out 1 item and watch 5 or 6 different reviews of the same product they're going to have different experiences. Just do your thing and you do it well mind you n you'll always have support from me n countless others
I agree the Momentum 4s seem to have better value. However your description of the personalized EQ with the Sennheiser concerns me a bit. Especially with you saying that made a world of difference and brought up the volume, it worries me a bit that I don't have the option to manually EQ these to a setting like that. What if the "intelligent" EQ gives me a different result and I actually don't get louder volume and a balance that I like? Seems I'd be stuck or have to return 'em 🤷♂️
You don’t, unfortunately. The Momentum’s 5-band EQ is essentially a single peak filter with a low Q value, while Sound Personalization is using a parametric EQ, likely with the ability to add high and low shelves, and peak filters with potentially larger Q values. The parametric EQ is going to apply pre-amp gain offset that will account for whatever adjustments you make. The 5-band EQ is probably dropping the gain down considerably. I’m not 100% certain on that last point, but it would explain your volume issue. The M4s are by far the strongest value on the market. I’ve compared them to the Bathys, Mark Levinson 5909, the H95 and PX7/8. All the medium and top of the range options. They’re the only set that gets close to the sound quality of my over ear sets, some of them almost 10x the price of the M4s. The issue is getting Sound Personalization where you need it to be for the best experience.
after the intelligent EQ is made it lets you move this bubble around to fine tune it. With doing that it retains it's loud volume and more dynamic approach
Just got momentum 4! a guy at Best Buy showed me his own Sonos I just couldn’t justify the price especially when I have momentum 3 in ear earphones and they smacked me right on hallelujah! I’m sorry I skipped Sony x5 x4’s 🥹 and I’m an all out Sony guy too!! Sony gang! I can never forget how the m3’s treated me but they were always sent back due to a problem I went to the website to send back too they didn’t last long but I can’t wait for the momentum 4 thank you man! ❤️🔥 great video
I’m still curious about how we haven’t had any wireless earpods/earphones that can save music/songs offline. So you won’t need to bring your phone anywhere just to stream songs. Imagine how convenient would that be. (p.s tell me if there’s any brands that actually makes earphones like that)
M4 anc makes me sick because the pressure is so strong it’s unwearable and the ear heats up with little walk. Sonos is little bit cooler on the ears (although not by huge margin because of that vegan leather) but the ANC is incredible on Sonos my god and 0 pressure and discomfort. I must agree on your part with Sonos’s Bass, it’s strange because I hear it but I don’t feel feel it you know?
How many Bluetooth 4.x's did we have? Can anybody remember? Now Bluetooth 5.4. it seems like Bluetooth 5 is having far more incremental steps before getting to Bluetooth 6 than Bluetooth 4 did before getting to Bluetooth 5. Just curious. Does anybody know? Thanks.
@@mikekakonikolas7407 Honestly, my Nuraphone only has Bluetooth 4.0 but haven't experienced any disadvantage compared to my Sennheiser MTW4 BT 5.4, Momentum 4 Wireless 5.2 or Bose QC Ultras 5.3.
Thanks Gamesky I appreciate you. My feelings are this when you buy a pair of headphones or earbuds do you feel like you got what you paid for? It's not that complicated really. 💯🇺🇸
Quite impressed by my Sonos Ace. They beat my Px7S2 and QC Ultra experience easily. Stunning ANC and clear sound. Lightweight and well built. Worth every penny. I know, taste is different, which is totally fine. In my case, I think I found the best headphones for my needs eventually.
Sonos has spent a lot of money on marketing I see......such a substandard piece of hardware...absolutely muddy sound compared to qc ultra and no where close to px7s2 on timber....paid PR
@@johnj.6104 , we have the sonos ace, normal people. I payed 450 $ , no regret. I was in my youth a profesional dancer , so my ears an hearing sharped from sounds. SOUND is not only BAS, low sound response, NO. If you respond only to BUM music you have a problem percepting balance sound. Sound is subjective. Go listen to a fine tuned sonos arc + sub gen 3 and eras 300 and tell me sonos is not a top tier sound signiture, an then switch the sound to ace , i write this and listen music on Sonos Ace.
I have same view too! I returned my px7s2, qc ultra and M4 but I am seriously considering keeping Sonos. It’s the first headphones I feel like I am happy with everything it offers. Only thing I am worried about is for gym wear since I am an active person, I worry the ear condensation might ruin them 😢
I highly doubt is. About to the Sonos back and keep the Bose QC Ultra and Sennheiser Momentum 4. I don't see any point of the Ace. What's the point of the tv audio swap, when I can simply have a direct bt connection with my tv on my other headphones, without being forced by Sonos to buy a fancy own branded soundbar and an iPhone (as it doesn't work on android right now).
This sonos headphone would have been an awesome buy if the price was around $300 ..for that price i will rather get the master and dynamics mw75 or a bang and olufsen. The price is TGH
Sorry Keith, but if you're going to offer an honest opinion and not say what someone else said about a product, you're doing it wrong 😂😂 Sometimes I just don't get people 💀😐
Flossy is great I agree I've been with him for 5 years now. But he has a tendency to dish on headphones and earbuds that don't have a lot of bass. It's not good or bad it just is. 🤔💯🇺🇸
Sennheiser has been manufacturing audio transducers at both ends of the chain for over 75 years, so experience counts?
The comparison I needed, thanks for putting this together.
Senheiser is a beast in sound qualty deep rich bass 👍😎

I think Sonos Ace is just another luxurious extension for those who have Sonos Sound bars. Love your videos❤

My old soundcore Q30’s are way louder than my brand new momentum 4’s. Are they just not loud or did I get a defective pair?

Xm4 hurt my ears moments 4 didn't

I’m looking at this video after seeing the p100 from Cambridge Audio and I would want a comparison between the sennheiser and the Cambridge audios
Does the Bluetooth version really that matter for sound quality/connectivity? Curious does it matter.
Not so much anymore. Anything with 5.0 or higher is very similar
