"The bond measure would also require the secretary of the Natural Resources Agency to publish a list of programs and projects on the agency's website for the public. The measure would require the report to list the project's location, objective, status, anticipated outcomes, total cost, amount of bond funding, and any matching funds."
Read the booklet I’m tripping out on this 30x30 where they tryna conserve 6,000,000 acres of lands and 500,000 acres of costal waters to reach 30% conservation by 2030
U right !!! All this props keep asking us for money !!! Is like having that bum family member who keeps asking for money and says they gonna pay u back but never does but all they do is get in trouble.
I was reading about that years ago, seems the project was plagued by overconfident budget estimations, slowed by red tape and ecological concerns, stuck with endless debates as to which cities it should pass through, and oh…. They’re over budget already It’s depressing but their estimates now are that the stretch from la to Bakersfield will be completed in 2030 if even. I suppose I’ll ride the high speed rail from la to sf in my casket
Yes in spirit but I want more objective plans and measurements by what they mean by "cleaner water" and "more energy". I'll read into it more and if I could find measurable mentions of what they're going to achieve then I'll vote yes.
This preposition will expand, renovate and repair local and state parks. It will restore and protect natural areas, clean water for everyone and reparations for dams to reduce floods and reuse storm water to avoid droughts . Our tax money is already being misused, this is a way to tell the government where our tax money should go.
2022-2023 budget - $234,366,000,000 - we cannot afford an event similar to Katrina in NO. "Hurricane Katrina was a devastating tropical cyclone that caused 1,392 fatalities and damages estimated at $125 billion in late August 2005, particularly in the city of New Orleans and its surrounding area."
I don’t understand your point. Do you mean to say we could dedicate more than half the state budget to a disaster with no repercussion? That can’t possibly work, money may be flowing around unaccounted in California but I don’t think that amount tallies to half the budget
Just do the math, the total budget was over 200 billion. How much does this bill cost. Ounce of prevention, pound of cure. A car company can save some money per unit if they skimped on seatbelts - this cost cutting measure is more expensive in the end.
I love much of what this stands for, but $13 billion going into so many hands and disbursement avenues screams mishandling of funds. The problem with measures like this is, there are too many pathways for crooked "money allocators." Reluctant, but hard NO for me.
Vote No on Prop 4. CA has a $68B deficit. According to LAO, CA Gen, Special and Bond funds spending on climate, natural resources and climate programs have historically surged in 2023-24 to over $26B, and it doesn't count Federal money being sent to CA for climate and resource funds. Shred the Gov't credit card borrowing and vote no.
All propositions ask money 💸 for good useful improvements. I would vote yes to all of them if I knew how many coins 🪙 we have to spend. It’s very hard to decide how to distribute the bonds 😮
Gimmes to the poor. And since the early 1980's I've been told that we will have melted ice caps due to Climate Change with in 10 years. I'm still waiting.

I wish there was more transperancy as to what these projects are and how exactly they're beneficial. There should be a longer version of this series!

I say no because most of that money goes into pockets and not projects.

As a woman in construction. I agree. We need to get paid for reconstructing our country. 😊
No. Where is the high speed rail? I voted yes on the bond 16 years ago. But here we go. Why should I trust money would go to the right place again?

Borrowed money that comes at the expense of taxpayers is always misused, wasted, and inefficient.
Vote no for the sake of your tax rate.
If you can't manage money then replace it someone who can.
We need audit not more bond
