- DONLIM Coffee Espresso Machine Unboxing and Review . I bought this from Taobao however this can be bought under another brand name Bs BOSS. Same look diff branding.

After using this for 1 month with a price tag of RM 370 including shipping from China is actually not too bad.
1. Froth can be silky and smooth
2. still learning how to make nice froth to create latte art
3. espresso cream is not to bad. average around 1.5cm - 2cm
4. Small and compact, that fit perfectly the gap in between my oven and microwave
Disadvantage:
1. Plastic body
2. No stop button for your Espresso .(currently I manually stop it at 12 seconds after I press the button)
3. Froth to Espresso temperature (about 2 -4 minutes shift back)

For basic model I got no complain but one of the most sort after basic model is below:

@@magdyfarg2722 yup most, most important espresso bean grind size. Milk frothing should be similiar as long got tornado swirl effect then its safe
my wife say the name of the machine already telling us "DONLIM" = don't drink....they should change the name :)

did you switch out the steam wand? it seems a little different from mine and yours definitely steams the milk wayyyyy better
i remove the big head. after i ask the seller. the head attach is the fat one. remove that. then milk will be better
How to clean up the machine? Your machine still works well? Are u using it daily or once a while? Thank you for sharing
oh my, sorry i miss out your msg. its just simple. use backflush with the rubber given. use it like 3-4 times a month or weekly once. thanks for watching and support~

Very good tutorial. I applied everything on my machine, but mine does not work, it does not even pour water, only the steam, but not a drop of water comes out from the espresso symbol😢😢😢😢😢
if you are first time user, then it will take at least 40-60 seconds for first drop water. cuz the water need to travel all the pipping inside. hope this helps
just got mine yesterday. As a beginner, how long do u have to change the coffee powder in the portafilter? i mean after how many cups before changing? thanks.

sorry I dont quite get you on your question. Coffee On Portafilter?
I am not sure I answer you correctly. My average is every new cup i put in new powder. to drain my espresso I calculate about 16-19 seconds, or you can use phone stopwatch.

if your first extraction, then it takes longer than usual. about 60 seconds. cuz the water will need to travel tru. you can try again 2nd time

I have a question, after the steam, how do you make the temperature back to zero?
Hi.. uusally i will let the steam back to center middle espresso shot temperature then switch off. I believe we cant make it back to zero cuz machine still hot.
After swtich off. It will slowly go back to zero
Just press the espresso button and open the steam valve, flush water through the steamer, temperature will fall quickly

what's the amount of milk you steam, and how deep do you put the steam wand in the milk?
Erm i bought a jug 300ml. I usually do about 150ml

I find petrus better. More consistant brew crema and frothing power is slightly stronger

I alsp got both. I personally would recommend petrus 3320. Consistant espresso and strong power for milk frothing
i rate this a 7/10

mine one...water doesnt comes out. then switch to steam. it let off about a second or two of lilttle steam then nothing happens. how to solve it? u had the same problem at first yeS?
For first time takes longer than usual. Like more than 30 second. Even for steam also. U hav to turn the steam knob all the way down 6pm

My machine is not extracting water. How do you fix this?
🤔🤔🤔 what i can think off is there is a little rubber in the water tank. need to pull it of. watch my video time : 6.03 ,
if that is happening already then first time using might take about 30-60 seconds for the water to flow.
if both is also done, then i guess you might have to ask the CS team of the seller
