It is good to see you and your wife involved in the fence project. Teamwork is essential for a successful small operation. That's what you call "love".
Very good start on the barnyard, you two. We know it will take a while to get it all done, but we also know you are up to the challenge. You go BIG! This barn and barnyard are going to look fantastic when you're done! Thanks for letting us watch.
Hi, love to see how you realized your ideas! And!!! 3 words and a sign on your wife skirt, but a important message!!! I love it too. Greetings, your fan from germany.
I know your work level. You guys did a great job getting those posts in. It's back-breaking work. Enjoyed the full video and look forward to your next video. Be safe guys and have a good week. Thumbs up.
Your wife reminds me of WWE champion Ronda Rousy. Beautiful and built like a battleship, good on the homestead yeah? Haven't seen any little angels around the homestead. You could use a few. Makes the homestead come alive like happy crazy.
My wife is a nurse, and she is used to lifting people at the hospital. She isn't afraid of hard work and always tries to out do me. This homesteading lifestyle is perfect for her.
Great job. The Mrs did better than I could ! Have you seen that trick where you drill a 1'' hole, 24-36'' long at a diagonal just above the dirt line down into the center of the posts, then fill with old diesel oil and fuel to make them last forever ? They are capped with a wood plug and you just keep filling the hole until they are saturated.
Do you have a front end loader on your tractor? I envisioned some kind of contraption for holding the post hole auger with the front end loader and wrote it all out, but why reinvent the wheel. Maybe rig a chain around the bucket to apply lifting power and maybe weld a couple pieces of pipe in an arc across the top of the motor frame for a lift point? have the wife run the loader with the lifting and positioning and you run the auger. It will take some coordination between the two of you and some hand signals but I think you can work that out by the third or fourth hole. If you don't have a front end loader, do you have a jib pole for the 3 point hitch? Same deal. Good luck. Oh, and you probably want to give yourself about a foot of chain between the tractor bucket and the top of the motor so you don't accidentally smash the thing.
hi Evan i dont know why you are digging such deep holes but I have done a lot of fencing and never put a post in more than 2ft 6in and that was for cattle and never had a problem but this is your farm so you have to do it your way I am not telling you to do it my way just commenting on the depth you are doing it cheers
Rebecca, you might want to get in the habit of putting your hair up when you are working outside. It’ll keep it from blowing in your face or getting tangled in trees, etc.
I love how much you and your wife work together. So much like my amazing wife and myself. She is my hero. ❤️❤️❤️

Your wife is a great help. Nice to see you both drilling the fence holes. Looks great, can’t wait for the fence and the animals inside the corral

Yeah, I have seen where coat post with diesel and used oil. And used oil, is something I have plenty of.
Be good to that woman , she’s a worker !
Y'all bust butt!!!
You should see about getting a video at that auction
Yea, it's tomorrow. I may do that.
Hello Evan & Rebecca
Do you have a front end loader on your tractor? I envisioned some kind of contraption for holding the post hole auger with the front end loader and wrote it all out, but why reinvent the wheel. Maybe rig a chain around the bucket to apply lifting power and maybe weld a couple pieces of pipe in an arc across the top of the motor frame for a lift point? have the wife run the loader with the lifting and positioning and you run the auger. How did the Irish Spring do as a deer repellent in your orchard?
I think it does good for about a month then the scent fades away. Then you would have to put out more. But it is cheap.
You should have treated the bottom 3.5 feet of the posts in liquid asphalt for rot protection.
A better solution might be to flash burn the bottom of the posts and put some stone in the bottom of the hole.
can you attach it to the bucket on the tractor somehow?

I was going by a field fence installation guide. 3.5 feet in the ground. I have a tractor post pole digger now. So it is way easier.
We put our posts below the frost line 4' deep so no heaving
I thought you would begin talking by "Hi, Welcome to the Country View Acres"..... and then talk about the video.
Good Morning. Why do you need electric wire strand around the barn yard? What are you trying to keep in or out? Just asking.
Rebecca, you might want to get in the habit of putting your hair up when you are working outside. It’ll keep it from blowing in your face or getting tangled in trees, etc.
Rent a BobCat with an auger
Good idea.
you do more talking then work that is why your videos are so short
