I think what really drives home the point how terrible medieval executions and torture are, is to emphasize that being strangled to death or having a clean, quick beheading are actually _comparatively painfree._
I mean, assuming the executioner does a decent job and kills you somewhat quickly, of course. Even burning to death has a decent chance of being less terrible than some of the things seen on this channel, that would mean you'd suffer for days.
Something that kinda freaks me out, most of these punishments happened in front of an audience, so to speak. What was it like living in the middle ages and watching a person being sawn in half or having their entrails being torn out by a crank. What does watching this to people? Did they watch in horror? Did they cheer, thinking justice was done? *Did they watch this for fun?*
    Sheesh.

By offering raw, uncensored content limited only by your imagination and amount of free time, for FREE, to absolutely anyone with an internet connection and basic typing skills. Then, once they got popular, they fell prey to the same crappy behavior as everyone else everywhere EVER, and decided to suck as much money as possible out of every single person, and just like everyone everywhere who does this all the time, the overall enjoyability and quality of their product went STRAIGHT down the sewer pipe. As if they weren't already making millions off of the ad revenue that they already had... SMDH.

Heavy weights were added to the feet and the POW was forced to sit on the mule for two hours every day for a few days under threat of an armed guard, until he fell off from pain and exhaustion. The POW was often made to hold two large bones, one in each hand, to prevent him from using his hands to lessen his agony.
