I have got brand new 280 txt racing 2022, a 2 months ago for around 5200€, and its amazing so far, its my first trial bike, so idk if it isnt, a bit to much. Also I am a bit to light for it so gotta gain some weight. Amazing review and excellent work mate, I really like watching you.
Buddy bought a new one last year drained his oil a pieces of bearings came out ! I had a couple myself years ago here in USA had nothing but problems! Now Trs for ever ! Best motor in my opinion!
It’s a lot. No weighed it all but the difference is mad in your hands when you hold the box of bolts I took out next to the new pack of ti ones…must weight them
Looks great and rides great but GG seem to suffer from 'box' issues, I've owned 3 in the past, I hope they've improved their airbox/gearbox and mid-box. Thanks for the upload.
@@gilesgreenaway5655 Ahhh, you've jogged my memory regarding the other problem that those GGs had; the quadrant- pawl/idle gear thingy? teeth chipping away on the kickstart, if you didn't get those shards out ASAP then it was like pulling the pin on a grenade. The worst part was 1 week after the dealer had supplied the genuine spare part...and it failed, they wouldn't assist you further cos it was an unofficially recognised problem. Ahh yes glory days, jumpers for goal-posts what, what. I'm sure that's all sorted now.
300cc is nuts , you need about 4 - 5hp tops and long stroke /lot of crank leverage. Damon watson is sub 3hp man , he level static gaps 11ft and jumps 61'' vertical ,5hp will comfortably hurl a bike+guy across a 15ft gap if geared appropriately . Back end is too over built , i'd reduce the rim and tyre width , same with the front (i'm 115lb) i'd put mtb trials carbon bars + stem on it ,custom super lite carbon foot pegs , take/cut rear mud guard off ,put a 4pot hope DH mtb front disc on front and a 4pot on the back with a 205mm rotor . Smaller engine tops 80cc 2stroke , big rear sprocket / real short whippy 1st gear , tiny petrol tank like a deep shot glass for 10min between top ups.. they basically need to be more like a modern mtb trials instead of ffat soggy trampolines 😂.
I think you may have missed the point and Damon wouldn’t do to well round 100 miles per day at the scottish…. Motorcycle trials is the reason why the bicycle version exists with the original name for the sport even being derived from the Spanish “trial sun moto.” What you described sound a bit like an oset and trust me they don’t take the long days. It’s still a motorcycle and the feeling is very different to the bicycle world. (I should know). Ps thank you for the comment though it’s great to have bicycle folk here!)
@@TrialTube I had a ktm sx125 first then did dh + trials.. their simply over built for what i'd want to do , your not going bigger then redbull rampage your bikes could weigh much less. As with the mileage thats way more then i thought 😮.. i'd ride it for an hour around a quarry then throw it in a van 😂, there definitely needs to be a super lite version to bring over mtb trials lad getting to old for pedals/me almost.. Oset? They lite ?👍🏻
@@TrialTube i have the same beef with them 🤣..i'm 8st wet through , a 100lb bike totally undermines my springy nature + ruins my fun..my 20'' is about 17lb.. if someone builds a super lite bike/sub 55lb they'd get me posting videos doing massive standing gaps + 360's stuff that attracts the youth and their dads wallet .. I'm gonna have to build it myself 🤔..👍🏻
Did GG fix the transmission bearing problem? My older GG bikes never had transmission bearing faiilures.. I moved on to a Mecatecno now. Far superior bike for my riding.
I've been waiting for some new vids! On the west coast of the states, it seems like a lot of higher level class riders are having major problems with the transmissions on their '23s, requiring a rebuild. I recall it's one of the split bearings that's failing. I'm guessing it takes time for it to fail. I've heard of three in the past two weeks. Unfortunately, all the rebuild parts aren't readily available in the states. GasGas says that the '25 models have some improvements to the transmission, but do you know if this specific issue was addressed? If so, can the '25 parts be used to update/upgrade the '23/'24 models?
I haven’t heard about this over this side of the water and I can imagine the 25 parts will slide straight in! (I would hope so anyway) madness to hear this! Good luck to you guys and sorry to hear about this!
Gasgas announces gearbox to be more reliable on the 2025, can t wait to compare the part lists Anyway, this bike looks fantastics it will replace my 2022 for sure 😁
I had confirmation that there is no change in the gearbox ! It helped me make my choice i ordered a 2024 GP to replace my 2022 racing, i hope i'll enjoy it as much as you seem to do 😁

Oh wow! That’s madness and look out for the linkage on the TRS. PS the TRS share an enormous amount of parts with the Gasser
I love my GG it’s such an awesome bike better than my beta in every way (except starting).
Good video dude I’m sharing on FB 😊
Thank you man!!!!
Welcome back 👌👌😀♥️
Thanks!!!
Great to see you back mate just good honest review !!! do well at Kinlochleven if your going !!
I wish I was!!!
Thanks 👍
Thank you too
Good job, missed you.
Hey, thanks!
Nice vid. Have you measured how much weight you saved on titanium bolts?

Good job mates
Thanks man!!!!!!
How is the bike lubed from the factory-swingarm pivot-or should you take it apart and lube it first?
Mine had plenty of live but if you wanna check??
hi mate, great videos. could you please to a video on how to clean the gasgas carb?
Yes I can, will do!
They do look cool. I saw one recently. It was not a 25.
True dat!

They have all round and the gear box is the same as a few other machines
Same old troublesome GG gearbox that dates beck to 2002 is it not
@@gilesgreenaway5655 I have personally never had an issue and you do know the gearboxes are the same in the Gasser, Vertigo and TRS?

Picking mine up tomorrow!! Soo cheers for the review ... curious about the footpeg issue you had with a certain brand because ive just ordered some 😮
The first version have now been fixed

Cheers mate!
Seems a shame to get a nice shiny new bike dirty, put it away man what ya playin at!
Haha they are built for it!
I am nice - you are nice ... nice video!!!
Thank you! 😃

The problem on older bikes, or the problems on '23/'23 models? I hope they can fix the problems on current models.

There are UA-cam subs available
why does one want titanium bolts? just to lose weight? how much weight does it all save you in weight?
Weight, strength (when you have good ones) and style for miles!!!
Dragonfly looks a heck of a lot better, like a real trials bike, my opinion… waiting for you to own one of them?
There is still time, I can’t fault that bike!
