Definitely some improvements on the 7 Pro, especially in terms of that flickering you see on the 6 Pro. Makes me glad I didn't upgrade to the 7 Pro though, think I prefer the 4x zoom on the 6 Pro, pretty sure it's a larger sensor too though Google seem cagey about the size of the zoom sensor.
unfortunately Pixel 6 pro 4x zoom is better, sharper and clearer than Pixel 7 pro 5x zoom. this is a huge downgrade and a loss as a 4x on P6P was good for portrait shots with natural bokeh. Because of this I'm thinking of selling P7P and buying P6P.
Fully agree with you, I noticed this in other comparisons too, yet the reviewers seem to not talk about it. I love the 4x on my 6 Pro for shooting people, pets and cars. It's a high quality sensor and a real shame that google chose extra magnification over quality.
@@miketyson4633 you can improve everything. Google did the same with the 4x Sensor on the 6p so they also can do it with the 5x on the 7p. Sure it might not get better than the 4x but it will be better than shown in the video
I've watched 5 million videos comparing these phones but this one is very clearly the best and gets to exactly what I wanted which is a comparison between the front camera videos especially with the frame rate difference and the background shutter and motion flickering on the 6 but not the 7. Anyway thanks so much. This is perfect and I am now going to go by the new phone.
I bought a Google Pixel 7. I love it. It is a perfect phone. I can honestly say there's not a single thing I don't like about it. The cameras for still shots and videos are phenomenal and the microphones for recording video sound are excellent. Maybe the only complaint I have is that I don't use the built-in camera app for video. I use third party apps because they do a better job of remembering prior settings and they are weirdly a little better sometimes. But whatever, we all use third party camera apps.
There's definitely some clear differences between the 2 devices in terms of camera. Not sure If it's worth the upgrade just yet. Maybe the pixel 8 pro will be the needed upgrade. Anyways, great video man 👍🏼
Note: The pixel 6 pro is one year older and had many updates of camera regarding improvements Where as pixel 7 pro released just 10 days ago and your expecting it on par with an one year older fully upgraded device That's why there providing some updates to fix those bugs
Great review, However... Shooting macro with 6 pro goes to 4x, BUT! You need to use main camera, not telephoto! Subject can be like 8-10cm from the phone. Please, try it and tell me what you think.
You produce some amazing and well versed videos! The Pixel 7 Pro is looking great! But I do have to say something! I'm not going to buy a Pixel 7 Pro, because there is something else coming that I think is going to be very special! Oppo Find X6 Pro with a 1 inch main sensor! I'm looking forward to you testing this!👍
Thank you, thank you, thank you,🙏🙏🙏 exactly what I was looking for and my guy Ben pulls through yet again just when I needed👊👍 Now I'm stuck with a decision haha!🤣🤔
At 13:05, I really don't think the pixel 6 is using the main camera, it looks identical in quality to the ultrawide shot right before. I know my pixel 6 has a tendency to switch lenses later than it probably should.
Just bought a P7pro for about £500 (in Australia) but honestly not sure how great it is, seems like I only prefer the camera over my old Xiaomi Mi 10. Might just return it and buy a P6pro for £350...
The pixel 6 pro takes amazing portaits using it's 4x telephoto with natural bokeh(without portait mode) .. since 7 pro's telephoto sensor is changed , may i know 7 pro can take these kind of shots?
Am I the only one who think that 4x telefoto in Pixel 6 Pro is way better than the 5x tele in the 7 Pro?.....so sad, Google. Was going to get the Pixel 7 Pro, but now I'm more about the regular Pixel 7.
Color Reproduction on 7 seems more true to life haha Great and detailed comparison Mate 😁❤️ P.S - If Google can do this much improvement in a new generation 2nd device, m just thinking what will happen with 8 and 8a haha 🙃
If you notice clearly 6:05 pixel 7 pro is pulsating more... 6 pro is much smoother and has better stabilization My pixel 5a can do much better stabilization than the pixel 7 pro.. Really disappointed with 7pro
The still images of the field with the trees in the back the pixel 6 pro has way better colour lighter green slightly les contrast. Will the 7pro have updates to make it better than the 6 pro ???
I heard pixel caught up to iPhone in terms of video.. this is obviously not true after seeing this video .. like like I'm still gonna rock my 4xl until they get their act together... 4xl alll day and twice on Sundays!
The 4XL slaughtered both of these phones in terms of portrait mode photos. It's like Google has tried to sabotage their phones camera capabilities on purpose.
Very nice comparison. But the hardware on both phones are very identical. Soo maybe in the future if Google bring out a software update. Maybe then they will be very close to each other. Great work!
You think the 7pro will get updates soon to address some of the problems the stills look better on the 6pro better colour like the field shot with the trees and bushes in the back lighter green better colour on the 6pro. Where as the 7pro has darker greens and more contrast ??? Thanks
My bog brother they not even close pixel 7a nice that's why difference price pixel 6 2-99$ and pixel 7a 4-99$ upgrade is very important midrange phone👍 Okay
Shots lookin hella clean! Good one ben.
Big Fan Bro
Google still needs to work on their videos as they still have tons of grains and sudden exposure shifting issues.
For real man, the back camera had so much grain on it it’s ridiculous. In broad daylight it should not have that much noise
That's a sensor issue. Not a software issue.
I m using pixel 6 pro after several update it's completely fix ( but not in low light ) still grain in low light
Benjamin is out here, man...my God. A useful and concise run down of all the modes.

Google ist known to improve this Kind of stuff with software Upgrades.
Was surprised at this too. 5x on the p7 pro seemed very soft for video. I've also purchased a p7 pro (coming form standard p6)
@@MangoAlexando you cannot improve it because Samsung 5x sensor is smaller and bad quality if you compare it with Sony 4x sensor from P6P
@@miketyson4633 you can improve everything. Google did the same with the 4x Sensor on the 6p so they also can do it with the 5x on the 7p. Sure it might not get better than the 4x but it will be better than shown in the video
You work hard man. Great video
nice comparison, sticking with my 6 pro! New sub :D
Your vids are sick bro. Keep them coming.
What an amazing piece of work, Ben! Thanks a lot!
Let’s get it!! 💪🏽💪🏽

I have a feeling that pixel 8 is going to be insane. They're building up to something with the 6 and 7
Pixel 7 pro is very contrasty, making the scenes darker. They brought this back again this year.
Daytime video in 7p is so dark. Zoom video is super shaky and detail less
Note: The pixel 6 pro is one year older and had many updates of camera regarding improvements
Where as pixel 7 pro released just 10 days ago and your expecting it on par with an one year older fully upgraded device That's why there providing some updates to fix those bugs
Best review i've seen for some time... Subscribed...
Night time video has improved!! It's not janky and handycam looking!!
Great review,
However...

pixel 7 pro selfie camera clearly better than previous model

Impressive comparison lad 👍👌
I've seen so many of your reviews lol, it feels like I've been to those streets myself. Especially the night videos 😂
Great camera comparison sir. Google really upped their game this year and I've been able to tell the same so far. Such a well rounded system.
Stabilization has definitely improved on the back camera
Nice bro

Very good video, thanks for sharing. Greetings from the Netherlands
Pixel 6 pro has better video stabilization judging from your clips. This could be the real difference maker for many. Great comparison over all. 🎉
The best comparison of pixel 6 & 7 pro among all you UA-camrs. Thumbs-up ❤
Thanks 😊
Good video. I appreciate all your hard work.
Great Video! You got my subscription.
Thanks for the sub 🙏🏿
Thanks for the review, I would really like to see 10 bits of HDR in action on my TV, I think this is the main advantage of Pixel 7
True tone changes are looking good!
Just bought a P7pro for about £500 (in Australia) but honestly not sure how great it is, seems like I only prefer the camera over my old Xiaomi Mi 10. Might just return it and buy a P6pro for £350...
Excellent video, looks like the Pixel 7 Pro great, although the Pixel 6 Pro does appear to be a good camera too. Apart from the 4k 60fps of course 😉
Great explanation. thank you😊
Great analysis bro ❤
Thanks for watching

I dare you to say something about the video quality. It's on sight. Unbelievable.

I'm kind of surprised that the 6 has a much better video than the 7. audio is better on the 7 but the pics and vids are def better on the 6. brighter
Thanks mate

Great and detailed comparison Mate 😁❤️
P.S - If Google can do this much improvement in a new generation 2nd device, m just thinking what will happen with 8 and 8a haha 🙃
Why Pixel 7 pro looks like a 720p, pixel 6 pro 1080p on video?
What happens when you zoom(switch lens) in macro mode?
If you notice clearly 6:05 pixel 7 pro is pulsating more...
6 pro is much smoother and has better stabilization
My pixel 5a can do much better stabilization than the pixel 7 pro..
Really disappointed with 7pro
Thanks…I appreciate your detailed review. The Pixel 6 Pro holds up well against the 7 Pro. Blessings on your day 👍🏻
Pixel 6 Pro Camera is much Better than P7P, Thanks for This Great Video
That jacket is slick
The still images of the field with the trees in the back the pixel 6 pro has way better colour lighter green slightly les contrast. Will the 7pro have updates to make it better than the 6 pro ???
Dunno
I always wanted to see this comparison on a black skin thank you
My channel is all about that🙏🏿
Any better after updates ?
The exposure pulsing seems worse on the 6 pro than the 7 pro. The zoom, however seemed sharper on the 6 pro for video.
Brilliant video by the way!
I heard pixel caught up to iPhone in terms of video.. this is obviously not true after seeing this video .. like like I'm still gonna rock my 4xl until they get their act together... 4xl alll day and twice on Sundays!

Good job
The skin tone of 7pro is too good
Was interesting
Pixel 7 Pro selfie camera is really good
7pro video quality is much better then 6pro.
Very nice comparison. But the hardware on both phones are very identical. Soo maybe in the future if Google bring out a software update. Maybe then they will be very close to each other. Great work!
Yea I wouldn't bet on a software update to fix things on the Pixel 6 Pro
@@LoverOfTech yea ik know very sad!💪

Lol...and Pixel 7 Pro is ranked as number 1 @DxOMark when 6 Pro on 12th place!!!

@10:00 a ghost is vlogging!
p6 pro better than p7 pro
4k video is significantly sharper on the 6 Pro.
Dxomark officially just made Pixel 7 pro the #1 camera globally.
👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
