the wheels are cracked and leaking air. it's uncommon issue. local bmw shop has seen several cracked bmw cf wheels. when i purchased mxr, the shop explicitly warned me about the wheels. crappy construction. the battle is getting bmw to warranty wheels. i'll create video soon. so far, the prospects are not promising.
@@damytzeus I wanted the carbon rims on the white one I ordered, but my dealer advised me to forget them because they only cause issues. Initially, I was upset about it but I see so many horror stories about it that I'm glad I could not change the wheels anymore. I hope they will do something warranty wise for you!
@@Dinky1031 if i did it all over, i would avoid the bmw carbon fiber wheels. it's shite design prone to fail and bmw knows this. i'm going through a bit of nightmare with bmw north america trying to get them to warranty the wheels. so far, bmw refuses. they're gaslighting customers who purchased bmw bikes cf wheels. be glad that you didn't buy bmw cf wheels. i'll create video share the experience once i receive a formal and final response for bmw.
@@Dinky1031 thank you so much for the information about warranty coverage in the netherlands. i can use that. i'm still negotiating with bmw usa. i'm not sharing any information yet because this situation may become a legal matter and i want to be careful about what i share that could adversely affect me in court. this experience has greatly soured by feelings about bmw as a company. i will share more once i have a final decision from bmw usa. also, it would help me if you please ask your dealer how many cracked carbon fiber wheels have they seen, from all bmw m bikes, and where did the wheels fail -e.g., valve stem, around rim, etc. thank you, much.
Love your bike with all these cool mods. Great. I have the same bike and loving it. How is the stealth mirrors? Couldn’t find them online. Is the field of view good and wide positioned under ? Does it vibrate on higher speeds? Would you recommend?

You should retrofit the M3 steering wheel to your MXR and hook up the clutch and front break to the paddle shifters
