Why do you not use a scarf joint at butt joints? If it and when it opens you still see material and not the tape. Just curious…. Keep sliding along on a great build….
Use a Freud 45 deg router bit with 1/2” shank in a jig for those miters, you don’t get the blade kerf leftover in the vertex. Obviously not good on off angle miters.
You are an true artist! I love your attention to detail and the high end service you provide. I’m sure your invoices reflect that 😂. I build decks in Virginia and we have such extreme temperatures it’s a continuous battle to keep things looking good year around. Azek is what we use most. Winters down to the teens and summers 100+ heat index. I really like the miter fold tip you provided and the other video with the solid edge sliver glued to the end grain. I just did a waterfall bench with a miter cut and ca glue and I think I’m gonna do it over with your fold method. Are your butt joints on long band wrap/fascia butted, scarfed, half lapped? Do you have any tips to keep that looking foot with this temp swing? I love you man!

So I just started working for “the Composite Guys” so believe me I enjoy your videos. But your brutal honesty about using the wrong size boards made me a fan. We all make a few blunders on the job site from time to time and for you to document it gained ALL my respect. Keep em comin I cant get enuff

You and your guys seem to get along, sometimes it can be hard to find good people to do this kind of work. So pay them well. About 17 bucks on Amazon... #1 most important thing, Safety!
I think a triplechip blade would work better. The blade has two angles on the tooth giving a centerpoint. Every third tooth is triple chip on the blade. Diablo makes them.
Hey great video Brother Say im doing a deck using Azek 2x6x16 i need to bend around pool coping curved corner could i use a heat gun i cant afford a silicone heat blanket do you have a ideas thank you
There’s nothing more frustrating then not having all ur tools in ur pouch when u need it. Just curious do u fellas wear a pouch or it’s just not needed
Skip that stabila digital angle gauge and get a starrett miter gauge. It will give you your single or double cut angles dead on accurate with no math on your part.
All professionals make “practice “ pieces. Carpentry is a practice just like the medical profession, only we feel the pain not the “patient “. We didn’t get to see the end result of all your practicing though.
We’re currently changing up our format to have one build update per week to be more inclusive with the build progress. We don’t have a budget to film on site every day yet. Thanks for watching and subscribing

That’s the only reason I’ve held off because of all the crazy angles we do
