It'd be neat if for the Runick first person effect if they made a spell or trap based off of a mirror, and it was only ever printed with reflective foil so that when you look at the mirror, you're still technically in first person.
To answer your lady of lament question, we currently have all of them! In order of release, we have lilith, malice, Alice, and the one from POTE is Loris.
"Archfiend's Ghastly Glitch, oh it's not an Archfiend card" Damn, I guess ARCHFIEND'S Ghastly Glitch isn't an ARCHFIEND card. It only has destruction and mill synergy, both of which are what Archfiends function on 🙃
Imperial Iron Wall will be 100% necessary for any DarkWorld strategy to not get slaughtered after sidedecking. It's major weakness has always been things that banish, like Macro Cosmos (which just went to 3 in the OCG probably to balance the new Dark World cards), since being banished stops Dark World effects from activating. Lancea can only be activated in the opponent's turn, so it can't be thrown down in response to Macro in order to continue your turn, so Macro and Dimension Shifter are essentially turn enders. Reprinting Iron Wall is their reciprocal change *in favor* of Dark World to allow them to *perhaps* get another shot a turn later.
Think about the production of the cards for a moment. All the different rarities are on a sheet of their own in a specific order. They are cut and go down the line in a consistent manner for the most part. Later they merge with the cards coming from the other rarities. They each have their own pull counts so now we pretty much would have three lines merging. Line one and two commons. Line three Rares and line four is everything else. They take x amount from line one then add One card from line three three and four and then x amount from line 2 to finish the pack stack. The problem is I don't see any effective way to randomize the cards going down the individual lines. Except by machine breakdowns and cards r moved because of quality issues. But in general x card will be in line right before y card. The closer it is to the beginning of the run the more consistent it is. Now add this to the mix they have a list of standing orders for the big chains. They probably do those in the same order each time to ship to distribution centers with the same number of cases going out each time. If your store is in an awkward location in the flowthrough you might consistently get dud cases. All because manufacturers don't really randomize or change the order. They are interested in efficiency not randomness. Is my logic sound?
Not the greatest box, but I'm kinda peeved that they had two floodgates but not a floodgate for the floodgates, Royal Decree why you ain't pull up to the cook out?
A Pendulum Monster can be used in two ways: either as a monster by Summoning it, or as a Spell by activating it in the Pendulum Zone. While not in a Pendulum Zone, a Pendulum Monster is treated as a monster, and its monster effects are applied, but its Pendulum Effects are not. It can be Special Summoned by appropriate card effects. If it is also a Normal or Effect Monster, it can also be Normal Summoned/Set from the hand, just like any other Normal or Effect Monster. While in a Pendulum Zone, a Pendulum Monster is treated as a Spell and not as a monster. A Pendulum Monster can be activated from the hand as a Spell Card in the player's Pendulum Zone, but it is not possible for Pendulum Monsters to be Set in the Pendulum Zone. Upon resolving, it remains face-up in the Pendulum Zone as a Spell Card, and gains its Pendulum Effects, if any (its monster effects are not applied while treated as a Spell). Although a Pendulum Monster is treated as a Spell while in the Pendulum Zone, it is not considered a Normal, Continuous, Field, Equip, Quick-Play, or Ritual Spell Card. As long as there is an available Pendulum Zone on the player's field, they can activate a Pendulum Monster from their hand in that zone.
God Yugioh is such a bad game to buy sealed product for. This set only has rares, supers, and ultras, I’m not including collector’s rares because those are supposed to be rarity bumps and uncommon. Y’all pulled TWO ultras. 2!! Konami isn’t even gracious enough to give people the equivalent of a playset of ultras per box. Even if you pulled lucky and got 2 copies of an ultra you still wouldn’t have a playset for your deck. And because people have to open up this set so much to get ultras there is gonna be so much bulk of this around. Incidentally though y’all only pulled one Droll, interesting. Konami short printing at it again
This is why I've moved to Pokemon. Even if the holo cards tend to be only a dollar or less, it's easy to pull a full art card. And always more satisfying than pulling 98% of all the holos in any given YGO set.
Each pack in a core set has a holo, that's why pulling one feels like pulling a Rare. Before we had somewhat better ratios and the foils were "worth it" of it.
@@MrJuan_Vzla Eh, I don't fully agree. While it did make the holos feel more valuable. A ton of them were still just pack filler trash. Or if you did get a good one, it was for an archetype you weren't running. It's just gotten more worse with time, and now that there's a holo in every pack, it no longer has the minor adrenaline rush it used to, that would distract you from how you wasted money. There's just too much filler in YGO packs, and too many of the good or decent cards are short printed or put on way too high of a rarity.
Lol same thinking here... I was under the impression it was a bunch of legacy cards we shouldn't have played with because of unreal pricing. Not that it was a dud opening

@@adong1 how much would that cost to print?

Labyrinths and mysterune are rogue deck in ocg, expect them to show up in event.
Mysterune commonly played with spellbook of judgment.
I love the image size of those pendulum cards. I wish yugioh did it this way in the beginning
Omg Konami really did us dirty with short printing Droll, one out of a whole booster box..Box... ONE!? nah that's wild
They just got unlucky, I've seen other boxes with like, 6
Can't wait for the new galaxy photon support that chaos version of number 62 is sick can't wait to add em to the collection ❤️

Dragon Quest had an pretty cool anime in the 90s that released in Mexico. The intro is still engraved in my mind.
I remember it airing in the US, like twice.
I've been waiting for Vaylantz ever since their reveal a while back. Can't wait to build em!
Since a lot of enemy monsters are extra deck, i runk kaijus to make sure Grand Duke can burn and gain attack while still clearing those boss monsters
Y’all been putting in work bringing content. Appreciate and respect your effort
I like that neither of you want to build the best/most interesting archetype in the set lol. Where is Larry when you need him!?
I was debating whether to buy a box but I don’t think I will lol
Wow, and I thought only 3 URs per $50 box were a scam...

Is this the first reprint of pendulum fusion?
Is there not a guarantee on ultras and secrets when you get a box? I thought there was?
These side sets only have up to Ultra and Collector's Rare, so secrets
At least two ultras a box
Can the ladies of lament or that labyrinth monsters be used as support for metalmorph monsters???

@@JeiceW Jinzo's useless in modern YGO. And why would they include the counter to one of the archetypes they're selling in this set? lol
I wish all cards had art as large as these pendulums.
Paul is going to end up doing Waifi or Pass, draw Summoned Skull and not be able to answer.
always waifu the summoned skull, no questions asked
Damn i wished u pulled some collectors, still great opening !! keep doing these :)
Guess cuz the value was in a different box 🎁🎁
At least the two ultra-rare are good cards (:
Lol I know runic is gonna be toxic, but I really love the art of the cards
Sooo .. why the title?
I pulled a collector rare astrograph s.... just now
Apollusa & Lovely need a playmate, no particular reason, just my two favorite artworks
Apollousa does have a playmat, it was the Rising Rampage Regional Qualifier Season playmat.
Two Ultras in a box where some of these decks require 3 copies and there are 3 Ultras in each arch type. It's just bullcrap.
I just use most pendulum decks to XYZ summon and I have to use CooClock
Holy heck your hands are big
The box any good?
Gary not Gary!
Gaaarryy
Gary is a good boi.
What is the anime called you mentioned to watch
I believe they were talking about Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai.
These archetypes being about Games make a nice definition for Yu-gi-oh!!
YUGI!! GAMES!!
Just like Yu-Gi-Oh! 0!
That's so epic bro
Sweet an opening!
I honestly dont understand pendulums. Like at all
