Hi Dave, is it possible to get a discount coupon to access Salesforce Administrator Mock Exams - Get Force Certified? I am also already taking the course on Udemy.

Nice and very informative video. I started preparing for certification recently. When, I started looking at the syllabus and there are so many trails to study just one section , say for eg: Company Org and setup (20%). How could we proceed? Do we need to do so many trails for a single section? Plz advice.

      Hey Gayathri,
There is a lot of ground to cover in the Configuration and Setup section, the knowledge and understanding that you build between this section and the Object Manager and Lightning App Builder section really sets the foundation to build from. Everything you learn in those two sections underpin what you learn through out the rest of the Trailmixes. It does seem like there is a lot to cover but as you get further on in your studies you realise just how critical these sections are. I would 100% recommend that you complete all the trails in those sections.
      Many thanks,
      Dave

@@DaveJMassey Thank you so much for your reply. Technology is amazing it is not just connecting people from one end to another end of Earth but, it is helping immensely. Thank you for your answer and Yes I realized it's vast syllabus we need to cover for admin certification and also to have a strong foundation. 🙏

Hi Dave. I have already completed many badges and trails on trailhead. Is it suggested I start a completely new TH account to follow your udemy course: “Salesforce Administrator Certification - Pass in 2023 (June)” or would it be fine following along with my account that already has much progress made.

Hang on, hold up I have to say something. You mean to tell me that you came in, with 0 Salesforce knowledge or experience and was able to get through the 50+ hour trailhead admin mix which people AT LEAST double that to somewhat understand the topics without being overwhelmed while balancing other aspects of life outside of studying Salesforce on top of taking multiple Focusofforce exams, going through the exams after you’ve taken them while practicing hands on functionalities of all the topics that are included and you did all of this in 7 weeks??…1 week short of two months?? You’re either ridiculously talented while spending 8 hours a day literally doing nothing BUT sleep, eat and Salesforce or I call bs. There was a guy that told his story on here who spent 9 months 2 hours a day going through the roadmap you described and failed his first attempt but passed his second. 9 months 2 hours a day with coming into Salesforce without knowing a thing….you must be a really special type of learner…

      Hey Dimitriy,
Thank you for your comment. Its true, I took my first Trailhead Module on the 30th March 2020 and passed my Admin exam on the 21st May 2020. I then carried on studying and passed my App Builder on the 20th June, Sales Cloud on the 19th August, Service Cloud on the 28th September, Experience Cloud on the 10th November, CPQ on the 17th December and Field Service on the 2nd February 2021. That's 7 Certifications in 12 months. If you have a look at my LinkedIn (SFDaveMass) you can see that I was a Travel Agent until August 2020 so was indeed working in a completely unrelated field full time. You can check by typing my name in "David Massey" on the Salesforce Verification Check (here's a link trailhead.salesforce.com/en/credentials/verification/ ).
I was working full time and out of the house all day, when I got back from work I would eat and get studying. On weekends I would carve out around 3-4 hours a day but that was my routine.
I'm not sure if I would say that I "ridiculously talented", I've just found something that works for me. I credit the way that I studied and learnt Salesforce as the key. So many people approach it without a structure where as I am very structured in how I approach any goal. And I genuinely think most people can do the same, I regularly mentor people who go from no Salesforce Experience to Admin Certified inside of 3 months.
