Makes me want to sell my home and do longhaul. The interior is freaking awesome. Technology is off the hook. Only thing i would like would be a moon roof. So as to watch the stars before I fell asleep 30 seconds after laying down 😂cheers

Many years ago, when trucking was a prosperous career and professional drivers were actually professional and respected, I asked an owner operator at the Kamloops Petro Pass how he liked his Volvo?! He said many things about it but all I remember is his favorite thing, the Volvo heavy truck warranty; it expires in five minutes or 100 meters, which ever comes first... basically once you leave the dealership. But I suspect Volvo trucks are much more reliable now!? Not my first choice for deck work though unless it was very long haul.

I'm a truck driver and the company I work for just got these 2024 volvos. Beautiful trucks but they are always in the shop for many reasons. One of our mechanics said that Some of them come out missing bolts and stuffs from the assembly lines. Quality isn't there yet. I've had mine for 4 months now and it's constantly going in and out for service. Be safe out on the road to all truck drivers.

That's a true American built product. LOL Same thing happened to my brothers brand new Chevy truck. He had to take it back within 3 months of buying.. Bolts were never tightened from the factory. American labor, no pride in their work anymore. Volvo will eventually take manufacturing else where.

Do the window curtains go all the way around? I see it has a curtain to close off the sleeper too. Is that for team driving.

I hate two horn switches in the bottom of the steering. Always press that by mistake when I try to get out from the truck. I don’t know what is the purpose of those extra honk switches in the steering.
I'm always pressing those horns when turning the wheel while backing. Of course today the horn started going off uncontrollably for about 30 minutes. Everyone thought I was honking at them.
Too bad it didn't come with a bracket to put your ELD without having to drill holes

@@exedes1000 я знаю что это вольво выпускается для сша. Но ведь FH предлагают с xxl кабиной правильно. Бывают перевозчики через спец ателье удлиняют кабины за кучу денег. Ведь это можно сделать в заводских условиях.
@@akmalnurmatov1213 ну значит для Европы так не делают , там свои стандарты , это так же как и с Кенвортами и Вестерн Староми которые делаются в Австралии , они отличаются по опциям от тех что делаются в США , единственный вариант брать её там и гнать в Европу .
@@exedes1000 да про габаритные стандарты тоже знаю. Просто в амертканских траках мне нравится именно спальный отсек. По технической части больше европейцы нравятся. Кстати вольво начала предлагать новый движок D17 780л.с.

I’m retired, has it gotten that bad?? I loved the last Volvo I had. Way more storage than the 379’s I had and more creature comforts than W-9’s. Shame not as good a riding truck as the 9’s for sure. If I had to run team it would be in a Volvo.
So much for my 28-year affair with Volvo. Apparently no fridge and no hanging locker either. Volvo used to have the largest OEM fridge out there. And the exterior is starting look bad now too.
