This time of the year is what farming is all about. Silage and hay after mowing, tedding, raking and baling is lots of work. But the end result makes it all worthwhile. Really nice to see the David Brown working.
Nice seeing that old David Brown running! There used to be a lot of them around here. Hay Bobs never caught on . I use a Tedder and a Kubota ( Kverneland ) rotary rake on my hay. Also they is some awesome looking hay you have there .
Was never a huge David Brown fan cab door issues 😳 but we had one on a farm that was mostly Fords an the David Brown was superior on the square baler 💪 governor's on the Brown much more responsive to the bale plunger an gave you a much smoother drive 💪 great video with the Drone video 👍
I love seeing the 995 during the hay season. its such a great machine. How long have you had both 1212 and 995 David Brown for? I remember them ever since I subscribed. I do also have another question. Will we be getting an updated yard/equipment tour?
Yea it’s good square baler. I’d love a 459 they have slightly bigger pick up. Be great for the straw. This one is bullet proof. Great it, twine it up and it never misses a beat
I love seeing a proper high shouldered swath coming out of the haybob ready for baling 😁 I guess you don’t fancy a single rotor rake instead of the haybob?
@@gerry6420 lol dunno, I bought a twin rotor so I could get in quicker. For the time you spend trying to pull it out the ditches on the road then rowing up a massive swath the conventional is crawling through… be as quick with a single rotor🤣 plus you get 95% of the grass, not 70% with the haybob
It’s using less desiel then the 69 and more comfortable. Gearbox is a dream for baling hence why I use it. 69 still gets plenty of use. Hasn’t been video much. It will though 👍
Sorry Gerry but the David Browns stole the show that's some bale sleigh as a kid the words you didn't want to hear was the sleigh is broken especially when you had to stack them in 21's 👍
I try to put in tractor sounds where I can …. Drones don’t record sound as all it would pick up is wind sounds. So not much I can do other throw in a song which we are restricted to using noncopyrighted songs. Our hands are tied
Great looking swarth, haybob still has it’s job for sure 👌
I remember the the square bale hardship! And the nights picking thistle thorns out of my hands those were the days! Thank God for modern machinery !

Stacked many a square bale years ago nots down and out great times .🤠👍
Good video gerry! It's nice to see the David brown out working. I love all those older tractors. I'm saving my money for a Ford 4000!
Smashing video, looks like your dad enjoyed himself with the old Brown's :)
Very good work Gerry. Tidy outfit and operation as usual . 👌
Finally , some real machinery at work , Great to see the david Browns back in action
Had to beat it.
Lovely. Nice to see the David Browns at work. They look to be in good condition.I think the 1212 looks well without the cab.
Great to Hear those David Brown Tractors, They had a unique sound, Great Vid
Yes unmistakable sound.
Awesome video Gerry nice to see the David Brown tractors doing a great job in the field great drone footage 👍👍👍
Thanks Sandy 👍👌😁
Nice one Gerry
Thanks Pat 👍
Always brilliant to see the DB 995 in action on the channel, oldskool 💪💪💪
That David brown looks fantastic , another great video Gerry thanks 😊😊😊

Great spell of weather to save hay Gerry, mighty stuff, well done 🖒
Some fleet on display Gerry both new and old. Great content. Self sufficient!
Great vid. Love the Browns

we noticed that with our ford 5000 it was bit dead on a baler. we always baled with a leyland 272 with a mf124 baler.
Great video Gerry. Love to see the two David Browns’ out working (flying) enjoyed watching. 👍🏼
Great to see the David Brown's working👍👍👌👌
Mighty video Gerry. Great to see the, let’s say the less young tractors doing a fantastic job.
I’m guessing your Father gets a real kick out of driving the older tractors
Yes I love driving them too but I usually end up round baling as he is king of the squares 😁👌
The 995 is my favourite tractor I spent my teenage years driving them lovely to see one in such great condition sadly they are rotting away mostly

great content as always. proud moment here 8:10 and no listening to sensors beeping . your dads def enjoying the hydrashift on the 1212
So nice to see old school tractors still showing their worth maintaining
It’s great to see 2 of the 70s machines still hard at it 😁👍
Cracking video gerry, good to see the 995 and the 1212 out earning. Nice thick crop.
Great video Gerry that takes me back using a 995 and hay Bob, that's a nice square baler
Yea it’s good square baler. I’d love a 459 they have slightly bigger pick up. Be great for the straw. This one is bullet proof. Great it, twine it up and it never misses a beat
@@gerry6420 That is what you want especially if weather is dodgy
Its all go for you mate. Crackin looking 1212.
Great video
Nice to see an old school tractor working
Excellent video Gerry , look very nice hay crop ,have you fallen out with the 6930, you must really like that new J D
No I mowed 5 acres with it few days ago. Delivered 30 bales to a customer. She’s working away 😁👍
Great to see the 1212 sq baling.
Great video Gerry as always 👌
Another great video Gerry no cab on the 1212 yet must be a bit dusty for your dad without one
Good dry horse hay as we would say its breaking down in cork here from sat we have rain up to the end of the month
Here in Virginia we can bale hay the next day.
I love seeing a proper high shouldered swath coming out of the haybob ready for baling 😁 I guess you don’t fancy a single rotor rake instead of the haybob?
No way. Love a twin rotor but a single rotor is half a rake in my book. You’d row faster with a hay bob then a single rotor rake

Hi it’s great too see jay been saved how is the tractor on the baler I have a deer baler it’s hard driven
DB 995 is a beaut.
The David brown is a nighty little tractor
such a david brown / case will use less fuel than john deere in the same power but john deere are also good tractors🙂
Time to retire the haybob and investing a rake give a better row for the round baler
Thought about it but then you wouldn’t see the browns in action 😂
@@gerry6420 why not. There is a lot of nice wee twin rotors rake out there the brown could drive
Great vidio, how much net do u put on?
First
That 215 is such an overkill on that baler we don’t get to see much of the 69 anymore
It’s using less desiel then the 69 and more comfortable. Gearbox is a dream for baling hence why I use it. 69 still gets plenty of use. Hasn’t been video much. It will though 👍
Great video Gerry. Is that an aftermarket blind in the 995?😊
🇨🇮🙏👍
995 only machine
Where is the 3650 Gerry, are ya not doing the hay with her?
It’s on the tedder 😁👌
Sorry Gerry but the David Browns stole the show that's some bale sleigh as a kid the words you didn't want to hear was the sleigh is broken especially when you had to stack them in 21's 👍
Great vid , shame about the awful music , would have been nice to hear the tractors !!
