For the air filter, you just pull it up after removing the screws. There are 3 metal tabs with screws hold them in place but for the actual air filter frame it is just a hook-like tab.
The K@N is the only way to go have them in all my bikes the only real way to get the most out of it is to have the bike tuned in with an exhaust power commander or flash you will get the most out of the filter. If you have the bike for a long term bike it's a good investment, that was a nasty filter. Looking at the old filter you will see a better running bike for sure. Maintenance is the most important thing to keeping you and your bike safe.
I've seen another guy on youtube with the same one too . I didn't like the fairings at first but it grew on me. Might actually try to get a nardo grey fairing or something
Hey bro, I feel my bike has loss a bit of power too. Like maybe 5%. Took it to mechanic and he said nothing is wrong with the bike. Never done an air filter change, bike has 33k kms on it. Going to see if it will help. I notice a little bit of drag as well.
No you don’t. I did disconnect the battery to see if it would reset the ecu. Not sure if it actually works but I figured it would recalibrate itself like that
I had a Ducati 848 and it was not fun in the city at all. Your hands hit the fairing when turning and it feels like it will bog down at low traffic speeds. Not to mention the mirrors were useless😆. Definitely a track bike. So my questions are, how is the turning radius on the CBR600rr? Can you make a U turn? How are the mirrors? Can you see Police coming up from behind? Or see good enough on the highway to change lanes? Or do they vibrate so bad you can’t really see.?
Yes I can, I think U-TURNs really depend on your comfort on a motorcycle and body position. I can U-TURN within 1 or 2 lanes but I've seen some friends need about 3 lanes haha. I guess it depends on the bike but the CBR feels comfortable. My mirrors are actually aftermaket as I bought the bike like it. The do vibrate but not so much where I can't see. Definitely would rather always have mirrors than none
@@joeltnguyen yeah the 848 fairing is made crazy. You cannot full turn because your hands get stuck in the fairing 😆. Thanks for the info Joel! Ride safe 😉
@@superstarsfastcars I actually have a video of me riding my friend’s 848 a long time ago. I wanted to do a cool college graduation pictures on it. It’s the link below or you can find it on my channel! ua-cam.com/video/uPdpMCNyM40/v-deo.html

I also run a K&N oil filter :D
K&n air filter and toce exhaust slip on is the way to go optional is to go with staright pipping it
Ok you convinced me. And I’m going to program the power commander for mid range. Take off time!
My buddies 05 cbr rips with his PC5
bro I thought for a second your bike was mine. I have an 2008 600rr with the same fairing kit except my front fender is red lol!

I would disconnect the battery and try to reset everything so the ecu can read the new air filter
Do you need a power commander with this filter ?
