Met Mat on a few occasions playing football with friends and can’t speak highly enough of the lad. Has always been passionate about cars and a decent lad who’s always got time for people, what you see on UA-cam is Mat.. just a genuine good lad, wish him all the success, he puts the graft in and works really hard!

At the end of the day hes been clever and built up what he has now, yes hes earning this or hes a millionaire blah blah.. end of the day hes been clever hes used his head and got to where he is now.. and to be honest youve not exposed him youve just basically told people his life story 😂
He will censor the price (papers and digital) every time he buys wrecks cars. Then at the end he would just put out a number at the end of the video claiming he purchased for blah blah and the total price he spent on repairs. His subscribers will buy them believing all his lies. Most of the time he sells for more for what a brand new, off the showroom model would cost. His channel is just a used car dealership but with all the drama, suspense and make believe numbers. His 24 hour repair challenges are also fishy. It seems like all the online orders reach his doorstep within 5 minutes and all the proof the audience has is a timelapse screen running on his laptop. Everything about him is fishy. His lack of transparency (purchase price), his strong spad like teeth smiles, his cap to hide his hairline. He just doesn't want to show anything that's real. He is just a used car dealership that is taking advantage of his viewers by adding high voltage drama to his repair vlogs/videos and then selling the repaired cars off to his viewers at a price point higher than a brand new car from car dealerships. We can imagine he is running a big profitable used car racket as well as the good ad revenue from all his click bait titles and sponsors.

Hammond - not Hammod! AFAIK it was James May dissing Mat's Maserati build that initially bought Richard Hammond and Mat together. But he was a good sport about it. (FWIW: I actually liked what Mat did with the maroon Maserati). I love his channel.. Mat reminds me of Ed China from Wheeler Dealers. Watching his videos is very educational as well as entertaining, showing the ways you can be thrifty.. For example, the mix of Ford Focus, Volvo and Rover parts on his Lamborghini. I think Mat's banter when working with his Dad has assisted in the appeal and meteoric rise too.
I dont understand what is to exploid in this video. Its his story on how he has worked hard to be in a position where he is now. He is a self made person.

@grumpygorilla991 I appreciate your response thanks and your right after some research and a UA-cam video it was actually his bmx and a few other videos at his previous jobs that started his growth and the Audi tt his partners car that he repaired that helped take off his popularity.
