Hey man it looks great, but the basics of prem pro is beyond me. Do you have a recommendation to learn how to use it. Did you learn by playing around with it or did you take a course?
@@brendansillett2376 I had to switch from Vegas to PrPro just four months ago. It's slow at first, but you just edit until you dont know how to do something, look it up, repeat, until you're spending more time editing than googling haha.
This was a FANTASTIC tutorial that covered so many different scenarios when it comes to drone color correcting and color grading. I seriously learned so many techniques in your 22 min video than watching 2 days of a bunch of different tutorials. This one is seriously a gold mine. Thanks so much for this great video Andrew! Keep up the amazing and inspiring work!!! 🔥
@@AndrewMurphyFilms If only it was longer 😉Can you imagine just how much more knowledge we would've been able to learn if it was 3 hours longer?! Well, I can!!!!!! Haha 😂
This is going in my favourites ... easy to understand and very sharing of your knowledge. I'm very green with all things PP so going to study this a bit more and change capture to log on new Autel.
You don't have to keep switching the layers back and forth on the applied effects panel - you can go into the color panel on the right, there's a drop-down on the top next to where it says "fx" and you can choose which layer your corrected/applying any changes to... just letting you know! Otherwise, good video!
Thank you for the great tips! They will for sure help improve my drone videos and pictures for my UA-cam channel and for my clients. Keep the content coming!
Very helpful. Is there an easy way to apply your color grading to all the clips in a track, other than copy > paste attributes? Like a CSS for color grading, lol?
Whats your process like when you have a lot of smaller clips? Do you nest them or make an adjustment layer and apply the color correction to all the clips at the same time or do each one individually?
Sometimes I do one or the other. It really depends on the output. If it's a quick social media video then i'll just make an adjustment layer, but if it's a high paying client, then i'll spend the time on each clip individually.
Hi Andrew, great video, thank you. I’m flying a Mavic Air 2. Do you have a LUT for footage from it or would I use the Mavic Mini LUT. also the link below to the LUT doesn’t work or states it “closed”
Is this how you guys edit your drone clips or completely different?

@@brendansillett2376 I used premiere pro for abouto 15 years, just slowly learnt over time. I don't use it anymore now i've moved to Davinci Resolve

Thanks guys. I use shortcut at the moment, which is glitchy as hell and am going to start using prem pro.
No, I use Davinci Resolve. And you should too...
Learnt more than I can learn from any million sub channel saying basic stuffs in high pitch tone to look cool, thank you man, subbed...

Great video
Thanks mate! Appreciate you watching!
Just came across this and as it was a wile back now do you have anything for the DJI Mini 3 Pro and luts? 😊
Very helpful. Is there an easy way to apply your color grading to all the clips in a track, other than copy > paste attributes? Like a CSS for color grading, lol?
You can create an adjustment layer and then apply the colour to that, then everything underneath will get that applied to it
@@AndrewMurphyFilms Very based, thank you!
Anytime
Great video! Masking tip’s helpful! Does your preset/LUT work on the mini 2 footage as well? Also which one?
Should work on both :)

I subscribe since there are free luts 🤗 are these luts can be use in Mini 4 pro ?
Welcome! They are designed for non D-Log footage.
Does pulling saturation, contrast so much not introduce noise? I struggle with that on d log from air2s
When shooting try stay on the lowest ISO possible to avoid introducing any noise into the image :)
Nice vid
Thanks dude
Great Job. Subbed!
Awesome, thank you!
Hi bro, can we use these Lut for Phantom 4 as well?
Yeah i think the D-Log profile is the same :) try it out
What software do you use for this video editing?
Premiere Pro
Yeah after seeing this my footage does sucks. I have so many clips but my laptop takes 5 hours to render a 3 min video!
Geez how old is your laptop? 😢
will the LUT also work with the Mavic Air 2?
You can try it, just not on the D-Log footage
Hi Andrew, great video, thank you. I’m flying a Mavic Air 2. Do you have a LUT for footage from it or would I use the Mavic Mini LUT. also the link below to the LUT doesn’t work or states it “closed”
Oh oops! Have updated it now. If the Mavic Air 2 has d-log then use the Mavic 2 Pro LUT Iink
How much is this program for video editing?
It's on the Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription
The left one is better tho
That makes the editing process easy for you then
What is the name of the editor apps
Adobe Premiere Pro
Hi Andrew,
the links for the Lut´s don't work. Is there any othr link where I can get these Lut's?
Thank you
Both working for me :)
@@AndrewMurphyFilms Thanks for your reply. Yes it worked now. Tried with anorhe brower and could donwload them. Thank you very much.
witch program is that?
Premiere Pro
Ah, so simple.
Not for beginners like me...
Anyone can do these!
I personally doubt it
Thumpnail is a clickbait!
Dislike because I can’t see it’s very small
Try a bigger screen 👍
Andrew, before starting editing, do we most use lut or not?
