Hi Jim, thanks for another top class video, have learnt so much from your instruction and methodology, I second Dennis & Tonya at Hamaguri USA, great people and equipment. Thanks from 🇬🇧 UK. 🙏👍
hi jim thank you for showing how to do this repair very nice looking results. what you would charge the customer for this repair, it took almost 30 mins to do .
Been watching you for a few years great info really appreciate watching so I can learn new techniques. I really should go to some events at some point. I would like to se you work over some curved shears in the rideline and see how you work a good shear vs fixing a over worked rideline how you would straighten it out.
Thanks for your videos. These are very informative, if I would like to start doing scissor sharpening in a "semi pro" way, what would be the bare minimum to start with?
I’m a newish shear sharpener. I just came across a pair of salon shears that have a nylon insert by the pivot. How should I go about messing with the ride line with that?
Great repair and re-condition. Thanks to you and Dennis, well done !
Great job on that one.

It really depends on what you'll be sharpening. You're welcome to reach out to my at otenews@gmail.com and let me know what your target market is.
Thanks so much Jim always something to pick up in your videos? So much to learn. What diamond paste did you put on the polishing pad?
It’s a 3 micron diamond paste. Works great.

Just treat it like any other hollow ground shear.
its funny you can see the years of experience when you were taking the tips down how gentle you were while grinding
