Fun, simple way to make a cute little flower embellishment with jute, ribbon, and organza. There are many other things you can make them with.
I found this idea when I was looking on Pinterest. I cannot find the video but if you search wool flowers lots will come up.

Great, so simple! Just an idea for the ribbon - hook a little safety pin to the end you cut off. That should make getting the end through the loop easier.

The 2nd one where you wrap the string around your finger and put it on the pencil is like casting on stitches in knitting. 👍✏️👏

OMGosh so much fun. I did have a hard time keeping the yarn on the end of the pencil. So I used a pencil with an eraser and made a slit in the eraser so when I put the yarn over the end it slid into the slit and then I was able to keep the yarn on the end of the pencil. I also slid the flower off the other end so it didn't get caught up on the metal part.

So pretty and easy now to time to find a pencil and other items to make these lovely flowers, as you where making these before they are closed to make a flower I think these would be cute just loopy cause one side has already been knotted and used on the top or side of a page just my creative thought. Thank you for sharing. So clever & pretty. When using the ribbon, perhaps putting a small safety pin on end of ribbon to help thread through that last loop. If leaves a hole, it will be cut off

I used to make a wrapped cord for jewelry similar technique. I didnt have a pencil handy so used a plastic ruler. Holds the end better and makes a wider/larger loopy flower. Could also use heavy chipboard in any width. Thx for sharing!
