You are correct regarding cleaning the Heads & the direction in which the Helical Scanning Head (Drum) spins and it is CounterClockwise, I was watching a Video from Adrian’s Digital Basement and he said never use Isopropyl Alcohol on the Rubber elements of the Tape Path and to only clean the Heads while gently turning the Drum in the CounterClockwise direction and to be careful of the gap in the Drum as it contains Fragile Components, I have a Mitsubishi which is a Time-Lapse Machine and believe it’s from the 80’s possibly early 90’s, I don’t have a Remote for mine either, I do try to find Remotes for any equipment I have and I do have quite a few Monstrous Universal Remotes… Wish I could find a Woman near me that’s into Tech like you, That was a good Video and hope you manage to get the Belt sorted! You're right in saying that Mitsubishi made some fine hifi, in fact they made (under their Diatone brand name) the largest subwoofer ever called the D160,way back in the 80s. It's a sight to behold, can't even imagine the sound :)
Nice find and great price! I have had a MITSUBISHI VCR player for a number of years (2nd hand) and works a real treat and has served me very well, so good luck with yours!
Great video keep your mode switche clean out everything proven online how clean out a mode switch in a VCR player if you don't know what a mode switch is back in time people was never to know about mode switches in VCR players
2:01 Aside from cars and various electronic gear, Mitsubishi was also known for its Mitsubishi A6M "Zero" Model 21 long-range carrier-based fighter aircraft that attacked and bombed Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. The more you know...
No panasonic had the pvs9670 svhs when you clean the heads makes sure to clean off the residue of alcohol or the vcr also recognize that as dirt so shine the heads playback wil be distorted in audio or video or both

My grandparents had a huge Mitsubishi projection TV in their den back in 1995. I thought it was the coolest thing in their house at the time.

I was laughing through this ad, things used to be narrated so dramatically 😂 in my defense it was a comic book themed curtain I couldn’t say noooo!
They also made CRTs... find one of those next!
yes PLS!

I love the font the VCR is using for the menu. You don't see a lot of serif typefaces in on-screen menus, particularly on such old devices.
I really enjoy this quirk too
Cool recombobulation of a nice unit. Congrats!
Thanks for watching ❤

Crt TV's are making a comeback I heard
I hope so!
