I guess the magnet is for a cam home signal reference, why not use the hall effect sensor in the distributor for that?

2 yrs na po yung akin at daily driven po sya hindi naman na tanggal... Ang magnet dumi dikit na yan sa CamGear plus metal epoxy pa... Segi daw ma tanggal pa kaya yan? 😊😊
Magnetism + epoxy + centrifugal force. Malabo matangal ang magnet except if kumayod sa any stationary part.
