The reason the girl in the video got lucky and only had to pay $50 drop fee, was because this was a Paving job going on and the manager did not want to tow the cars in the first place, The guys who were working were also waiting on me to clear the remaining cars so they could finish the work in the designated area for this particular day. This has been common while doing paving work, as many properties will just pay us to move the cars around the property. Taking the $50 drop fee also took pressure off the manager, who was having additional residents coming in the office pissed off about their cars. Managers don't like the drama at the office. We ALL know damn well that complex posted notices a week in advance that this was going to be going on and the taped areas just reinforce it. Don't tell me they didn't look out earlier and see the taped areas and all the other cars were gone. But they sure as hell get out there when the truck gets hooked up!
They did that in the apartment building I live, they put notifications on every door in my building 1 week before they were going to re-stripe the lot and 5 cars got towed

Yes, she was in the wrong for parking in an area that has been cautioned off for no parking. But most apartment complexes have just enough parking for their tenets and very little for even visitors. So when the apartment complex ropes off a series of parking spots, odds are there is nowhere for the tenets to park.

The crew working on the property were waiting on us to move more cars, no to mention the girl called the cops on the property manager and claimed she was assaulted, we de escalated by dropping her car or the property manager would have ask us to drop for free, facts are facts, the girl had no violations on her car, she just didn’t get up and move her car

Johnny, how often is the tow cable on your truck inspected? I worry that when you're hosting a vehicle that's locked, and no ignition key to unlock shifter in neutral - the cable can and will eventually break. Snapped cable cuts like a razor when it goes in any direction it wants to. I worked on cranes, and when a crane is lifting a load- I stand very far away from the crane. I've seen many wire cables snap like broken rubber bands, and have seen one guy get cut in half. Broken cables don't discriminate on who they hurt. Same as shingles don't care either.

I had been in customer service for many years. As such, I can tell you that when a customer / owner or anyone else starts treating you with total disrespect, you have no obligation to treat them with any after that. However, the amount disrespect and / or the lack has seriously climbed in todays socially digital world. Everyone seems to have some level of entitlement or excuse as to why you need to do what they want or say. Always keep yourself safe first and foremost.

The crew working on the property were waiting on us to move more cars, no to mention the girl called the cops on the property manager and claimed she was assaulted, we de escalated by dropping her car or the property manager would have ask us to drop for free, facts are facts, the girl had no violations on her car, she just didn’t get up and move her car

Johnny, how often is the tow cable on your truck inspected? I worry that when you're hosting a vehicle that's locked, and no ignition key to unlock shifter in neutral - the cable can and will eventually break. Snapped cable cuts like a razor when it goes in any direction it wants to.
I worked on cranes, and when a crane is lifting a load- I stand very far away from the crane. I've seen many wire cables snap like broken rubber bands, and have seen one guy get cut in half. Broken cables don't discriminate on who they hurt. Same as shingles don't care either.

I can be professional until someone gets in my face, and then any kindness goes out the window. I'd be out of there in a second, with no remorse. Tears a d a sob story don't move me. The people had an opportunity to correct the problem with property management, but they couldn't be bothered.

With that being said, we have no idea what was happening in her life that day that might have amplified her response to what was going on. And maybe nothing unusual was going on. I had been in customer service for many years. As such, I can tell you that when a customer / owner or anyone else starts treating you with total disrespect, you have no obligation to treat them with any after that. However, the amount disrespect and / or the lack has seriously climbed in todays socially digital world. Everyone seems to have some level of entitlement or excuse as to why you need to do what they want or say. Always keep yourself safe first and foremost.
