Totally! When they rolled up they quickly surrounded him and tried to knock the camera they knew about on the ground. it was only when they knew he had a body camera that they started rethinking what they were about to do.

I think it always helps if Johnny mentions that he tows according to Georgia state law. People think towtruckers just make it up as they go along - not so.
@@bdkyer Georgia law says that once a car is "hooked" the owner can redeem it for a drop fee of $100. The car has to be "road worthy" in order to be dropped, but I'm not sure if that part is state law or not.

I've watched a few dozen of your videos now and what sticks with me is your attitude and demeanor while doing a stressful job. A perfect example of why keeping your cool and treating people with respect goes such a long way, you're a professional. I myself need to learn how to do the same, I'm often too quick to anger... When the 4 guys surrounded you and were, presumably, about to jump you it reminded me of Training Day, when Ethan Hawk is alone in the gang's house. You were both able to get out of it in kind of the same way, being good people, helpful and respectful to a woman they cared about. Seems like you're operating on a higher level, well done.

You see so many tow truck drivers who are shady as hell but this guy isn’t one. He’s literally explaining step by step what to do if your car is stickered. He’s not trying to pull a fast one. If you don’t want your car towed then don’t give them a reason.

He didn't have it hoisted up though until after the girl approached him. He could've avoided all that if he lived up to his own rules.
