I agree. Catholicism is a cult. They are religious. No relationship with Jesus. There salvation is work’s based. They think Jesus needs help. These people that they cannonize is crazy. Worshipping idols, statues and thinking that a priest can absolve them if their sins. Only Jesus can and did. I tried talking to my catholic sister in law is so indoctrinated she just doesn’t get it.

There is no greater a cult leader than an unseen idol, Christ. You live by the words of “christ” from “the mouth” behind the pulpit. Mat 4:4 But He answered and said, It is written, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." Your “God”(authority) is “the mouth”.
If someone tells me they are a Christian, I look for fruit in their lives: 22 The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23 LSB) If I don’t find it, that is not a reason for me to call their salvation into question, because perhaps they have not yet understood that faith is salvation plus good works. 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, leading to righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, leading to salvation. (Romans 10:9-10 LSB) Even if they are not doing good works, don’t hit them over the head with a Bible. Take them with you while you serve. Pray for them. Answer their questions (if you don’t know the answer, be honest and tell them you’ll get the answer for them), or pray with them for God to enlighten their heart.
They go after the young, money and power. They love when the audience is hanging on their every word. A captive audience. They want admiration from the world. Books, books, 📚 i'm tired of all their books. Look how rich they live. 🤢🤮

By his definition it is an apostate church. So is the UMC, for another example.
