Sinar has failed to uphold their customer support and ghosted me with repair requests. Just pass on it. Better folding eBikes out there for the price. And the faulty cruise control and brakes are just downright dangerous. - Авто та транспорт
I noticed that bike is essentially the same as the Polarna M5 with the M6 fork. The issues with the cruise control is more than that. If you peddled it you would have lost your peddle assist, or it would come and go. I would run the throttle until it would start operate like it's supposed to. I tried to sort it out, and after swapping out the throttle to 3 identical ones purchased on Amazon, found the positive and negative wires in the male plug was reversed on the Polarna. The problem is a ghosting one, meaning it could be a software bug, or loose connection. The cruise control view is a good thought. My brakes do cut out the motor, but when malfunctioning would try to take off without any throttle or pedaling, as long as it was in a PAS mode. After riding it with throttle then peddling, it would eventually act right.
Now for this version of essentially the same Chinese made folding e-bike with the 20x4 wheels, and accessories, it appears it has the same issues that have been reported with the Polarna M5 & M6 models. I've even heard from a owner of the M4 model that with the same controller and display that issues with PAS and throttle control were similar. I like my Polarna M5, it rides great with street tires, but the ghost throttling or auto cruise control function needs work. Your review of that M5 model awhile back produced about the same acclaim. Thanks for reviewing these bikes to give future buyers a heads up in pros and cons of these re-badged folding e-bikes. 👍

I had an Oset 24 electric trial bike and I miss it. But even second hand it were damn expensive to buy. Now I got a couple of coleman ex (looks like small harley davidsons with swamp tyres). Much fun for the buck 🤩 Just have to modify them so I can stand up and drive. That will be the best mod for them I think. Then theyll be much better offroad and less painful since they lack rear suspension 😅

That one looks good. Great commuter bike for apartment dwellers with limited storage. Would have liked to se a full storage mode setup, as I did notice it had a grab handle off the bottom bracket.
Love your reviews. I have a Lectric XP 2.0 step thru. why do all these companies put the key in the bottom and not the side? That is the only thing I don't like about my bike.

I think the maker design this bike cruise control for long distance ride which require the rider full control of the bike without have to think about pulling back the throttle whenever breaking. For me thats great, just need to be a little attentive whenever do the breaking
At least on My e-bike it says to hold down the cruise button for 6 seconds to engage cruise control. It never worked but, I found that on mine if you hit the cruise button once it turns cruise control on, and then holding the throttle still for the 6 seconds engages cruise control at that speed. All e-bikes are expensive though, so nothing against this particular brand. This bike seem worth the price for those willing to spend the high e-bike prices 🙂👍

Looks just like mine, same wires and all. I just have a different brand and battery. But yes folding the bike is so hard lol it has to be standing and only move the handle bars and it’s easier

Look if the brake lights turns on while breaking. It might not be connected to the controller.

This bike is contradictory to me. Mag wheel for less maintenance but front and rear suspension for more maintenance. In my opinion you don't really need suspension on fat tire bikes. If it had rigid fork and no suspension it would be worth considering. Option for bigger battery at least a 28AH and I'm sold.

The hydraulic brakes might not have a brake sensor that's why it's still going if you're pressing the brakes. This should have it for its high price.
That’s why he checked to see if the brake light turned on when he pulled the lever. Since the brake light turned on, it should also send a signal to turn off the cruise control. This is a potential deal breaker for me when there’s so many other options on the market.

What are you talking about, this ebike exact ( unbranded ebike )can be purchased for about $800 with free delivery of a certain china website or can be purchased all over the US domestically for about $1000, all this parasitic company is doing is importing then branding them and bam selling at a massive mark up, so yes this is very much an over priced expensive bike
