Nice to see they used the same switch for the door mirrors as the JB43!

Will you be changing the central cluster to uk spec?
Do the mirrors fold shut when you lock the doors? And open when you unlock?

While it is possible to change the cluster to UK spec, we haven't been able top source anyone able to do it. The majority of experts in this field are Russians, and they aren't prepared to do it. We have contacted more than one, and they won't invest the time or equipment.
The mirrors open when you start the engine, but I'll have to get back to you about them closing. From memory they don't, although they do on the ignis.

From where can I buy the parts to make the car keyless entry + start?

Hi - it's very difficult, if not impossible to add keyless start to the car. Much easier to but one with it already an option.

I don't understand the comment that this is what the new Defender should have been like because then it would be like the old Defender, my Td5 90 had the same type of suspension and axles, a boxy body, but bigger than the Jimny. The old Defender needed modernising!

Just my opinion, the New Jimny is like the old Jimny, is like the original Jimny - because that's what people wanted.
To me - the Defender was always an old school workhorse, the Discovery was a refined defender and the Range Rover was the premium version.
The new Defender - to my mind - is a huge, modern, refined luxury car, and they don't have a back to basics car in their line up any more.
That's what I would have wanted anyway.

@@mysuzuki8534 I totally agree with you, the new Defender is too far removed from the vehicle it replaced for it to appeal to those who wanted a more refined work vehicle, myself included, l was looking forward to the new Defender 90 Commercial but was disappointed to see so much tech in what should have been a more basic vehicle that l didn't even bother with a test drive, l shall carry on with my 2020 Jimny until l see something better!

Why do you have to put it through an Iva when the car is officially sold in the country anyway

All cars imported to the UK have to go through the IVA process, apart from the fact the Jimny Commercial is the only Jimny available to buy in the UK, this is the four seat version.
