They overtook you when you were doing 22.
They then slowed down to hinder your progress.
When you went past them you were down to 19mph.
What the hell are these drivers on, it sure as hell not liquid brains.
Poor lack of forward planning there. Just ended up at the same set of lights just like other impatient drivers
Gave the meaning of "pointless overtake" a new definition.

I didn't know that cars could use the bus lane. Maybe he is driving a taxi? Or is he illegally using it?🤔

Was going to, but didn't record my cadence on this ride as my power meter was in the shop for repair.

When I was a kid we had a car like that when we lived for a year in Derbyshire. My father went to Paris and bought a used left hand drive English Ford Zephyr (great car) which we planned to bring back to the US with us at the end of the year. Whoever was riding shotgun would sing out if it was safe to pass. I was 8 at the time, still can't believe they trusted me to do that.
If the overlay had been the 'right' way round it would have been on the pavement. By being that way round it shows how much clearance there is to the left that the car driver should give to the cyclist.

This happened multiple times..
