Mansur - who’s about to turn 17 in January 2024 - composed the music and played the guitar and keyboards for this. Dimash says he can also sing, but we haven’t heard him do that yet. Raushan (currently 22) also has a lovely voice, but has chosen to study medicine instead (and has also recently overseen the opening of a restaurant called ‘Daididau’, in the centre of Astana, where they live). They’re an extremely active and talented family!
Mansur, his 16-year-old younger brother, studies at the University of Arts in Kazakhstan. He already plays piano, electric guitar and like a good kasajo he plays the dombra wonderfully. Mansur composed this song at age 15. He is the Baby of the three siblings. Raushan, the beautiful sister was in medical school last I heard, but she also works for Dimash working at his concerts. She has a lovely soprano voice but is not comfortable singing for crowds. Dimash adores both of his siblings, but Raushan is his love. Both of his siblings being younger than he has given him a great love for babies and children and you will often see him toting around babies of friends and fans. Dimash just had a Hong Kong concert on Dec 23rd. He premiered 2 new songs in English. They sound nothing alike. 😄 There are only fan cam versions at the moment. He just learned a song in Cantonese for a duet with an old friend from The Singer show, Justin Lo. So that's 17 languages now. 🤯 He is having a concert on May 4th 2024 in Budapest, Hungary...and he's going to learn a Hungarian song.
