One of the last concerts with Miho on bass. Concert was recorded during the pandemic. Clapping hands was only allowed for the crowd. Clap til the bands bleed was the motto! *-) And Miyako had a 4-5 month babybump at the time! These ladies is beyond awesome!

The drum march intro in the beginning already sort of "announces" that it is going to be very special once more. The incomparable dual-lead guitar command "M&M" shreds it like a clockwork, Haruna (drums) drives them across the Metal highway, and Asami's vocals are "somewhere in the stratosphere" again. 😁 I know why I *love* this band. 😊🥰 There are 4 Metal bands left, that get my precious time in my everyday life: Iron Maiden, Lovebites, Nemophila, Helloween. I am so glad and grateful they exist in this era.
Iron Maiden Gallop driving a thrash song. I'm in heaven. And that dive bomb by Midori before she shreds my face off with her solo. And this isn't even my favourite thrash song from them.
By now, praise for these extraordinary women is the order of the day, but there is one thing that is missing in their videos, to do a little more framing for Haruna, this incredible, crazy girl does not have blood in her veins but petrol, it is fascinating to see with what and how much vigour and precision she can play, she is volcanic, I repeat, she deserves to be framed a lot more!
First of all: great reaction video dude. Second: Lovebites reminds me of the Metal bands from the early 80's to mid-90's when Metal was at it's HEIGHT, taking influences from the Big Four Metal bands obviously, but also bands like Helloween, Overkill, Armored Saint, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Nuclear Assault, Testament, Flotsam and Jetsam, and even a bit of Bolt Thrower. Third: Lovebites doesn't just set the bar for what Four of the Six subcategories of Heavy Metal should sound like, Lovebites actually ARE the bar. Fourth: while all the ladies are obviously VERY talented, I'm going to mention the drummer Haruna (simply because too often drummers are overlooked). Haruna is an absolute BEAST on drums, and she has two speeds - Fast, and FASTER. Haruna reminds me a bit of a combination of Dave Lombardo and Paul Bostaph and Tim 'The Missile' Yeung, but with her own unique style added into the mix. MOST male drummers from the so-called 'Metal' bands nowadays should be embarrassed and ashamed to call themselves 'Metal drummers', because in my opinion they don't have even a fraction of the talent that Haruna has. Just my own personal opinion anyway.
Haruna and the gallop! The horses stampeded and did not stop. I know some drummers have an in ear 'click' to give the tempo but how do you keep arms, hands and feet galloping at different rates during the song? Yes I know the tempo may not change through the song but the 'feel' of the tempo does, requiring a different beat pattern, all at an insane pace! Maybe it is witch craft? I am certainly bewitched by all the Lovebites lady's. 😍
I've been a big fan of Lovebites for a couple of years now, and yes, they are awesome. That said, if you would like another all-female band who plays on the same level as Lovebites then you need to check out, East Of Eden, and their song, Evolve [Extended Version] It's a real banger.

I've known Lovebites for a little over two years. I am so in awe every time I listen to them. "Judgement Day" is my favorite song.

When Miyako-san composed this song． Producer was concerned that it was too extreme、、、. But result is like this‼️
I wish they would do it more! When they lean into thrash with songs like this, Break the Wall, Thunder Vengeance etc, I think they are at their best.
