The second song-"sister" is called 'Shadowmaker' (2017; lyrics - Asami / music - Miyako). For me, these two songs are "sisters" because they show the signature style inherent in Midori & Miyako. Speed, long, beautiful, melodic guitar solos and equally beautiful harmonizations of two guitars. And, of course, Haruna's magnificent drums and Miho's bass. All this is crowned by Asami's shrill voice. Even if the entire work of LOVEBITES were limited to only 'Shadowmaker' & 'When Destinies Align', then these two songs already put the band on a par with the best heavy metal bands in the world!

In my opinion: One of the best (music, vibe) and most important (lyrics) Metal songs ever written. Like "Empire of the clouds", "Paschendale" and "Brighter than a thousand suns" by Iron Maiden.
