I am 51 years old and I am learning a thing or two from this guy. You are a funny guy Captain Bob. I will by buying one of these laser cut panels very soon.
This.is.AWESOME!! Bob to the rescue, once again. I looked up the price and I was shocked to see just how affordable it is. I had anticipated several hundred bucks. $125 for the panel and "glass"?! Are you kidding me?! I sent this over to my Dad who is also working on a 172 build at his house. The only thing I wish he had was the matching right-hand side. But that may come later. I'm ordering one up right now. And to think. I bought a router and MDF to start on one lol
I used Go-Flight radio stacks & components in my homemade cockpit (when MSFS was first born!) I put everything in a closet about a year after FSX was released (family and work priorities replacing my love for sims). Now with the release of FS2020 and Ron’s AltimeterMotive panels, it’s time for dusting off my old Go-Flight components and bringing them back to LIFE! Unfortunately, most cockpit panels companies are designed for Logitech Instruments. I’m hoping Ron will offer a “blank” right half panel so us Go-Flight owners can design and install our own right side radio equipment! I prefer the looks of Go-Flights metal housings, over Logitech’s plastic housings ( and also I hate to start over having a $1000 invested in Go-Flight!) Anyways, just wanted to give you a shout and thank you for all your enthusiasm in sims! Looking forward to see how you fill up the Altimeter Motives Panel!
Hello M. Vaughn, That's really cool! You might be able to request a panel through the contact us page: altimetermotives.com/contact-us I'm looking forward to filling it up too :)
I should've started by saying i've watched you go from your duct tape MIP through all your builds... well done man, i've learned a lot . you should be proud of yourself, can i ask, whats the shipping to uk? and do you have gauge plans to fit this model?
Hello jason! Glad to hear you've been enjoying them! I imagine shipping to the UK would be somewhere around 25-50 UK Pounds. These are fulfilled by Altimeter Motives, and not myself (Though I do work closely with them). I haven't designed the instruments for this lense or panel yet, but some of the instruments on the channel should fit into the profiles. Have a great day! -Trevor
awesome Bob . ive a 24in touch screen Hannspree HT225,would this suffice for this panel, I can send you a picture of my sim as it is now how do i do this email or other ?

Captain. great. what are the dimensions of fuel/oil and instrument gauges?
Hi Capt. Bob, the other hole next to the Annunciator is the NAV/GPS selector.
I was wondering what to call it, Thanks for sharing!
Wow thanks for the tip on the panel I will contact them!
Glad I could help!
Capt thank you man. It is a great panel by altimeter motives. You are the man. By the way how tick us it? Is it durable?
Thanks! It’s 3mm thick. I wouldn’t see it breaking unless you tried snapping it.
Those who want right panel can order it. Although it will be available soon as well as much more great features.
Good Job, Captain Bob
Thank you, Jorge!
Hey Captain Bob. Where can i get a pattern for a 172M?
Not off the top of my head, sorry!
You can always create one yourself however using something like Inkscape
This is amazing
Thank you Officer Cool dude! I'm glad you liked it :)

Dimensions are 20.75" x 13.5"
Area used by screen to display all instruments: 19.5" x 12"
But Capt. Thats only the left side. What about the right one?
I’m going to design a right one to match
Right panel is coming soon.
Very nice
Thank you Sebastian!

Please don’t say coming up, it’s annoying when 74 Gear says it. Great Videos 👍🏻
