Front engine Porsches are less desirable for a reason, that rear flat engine design is what made Porsche different from all the rest. And that timeless body style starting with the 356 and then the 911 is what has kept Porsche so desirable.
@@SAMMYJR00777 If such a bad design, how did they win so many races with it? The earlier Porsches had some handing problems, they solved this problem by putting more weight in the nose, closer tolerances for the suspension, lengthened the wheelbase, and wider tires.
Porsche basically they are the true race on Sunday Sell on Monday Motto. They stay true to their passion for racing period. Bringing in racing into the production cars period. I bought my first Porsche although not a Car its CUV Porsche Macan GTS Its on par with many cars of today which is just mind blowing. Its in the collection of Porsches that I would like to own. Def 911 Air cooled and , 911 Turbo S, Who cant appreciate a Porsche?
Thanks everyone for your comments. I’m a Porsche fan to a point but not hugely versed in them. This was more of a first try at video editing for me. It’s been several years since I first made this video. I’ve now switched gears and will begin my private pilot training soon (not sure exactly when thanks to COVID but hopefully late 2020 early 2021) and will begin producing 4k video of my entire flight training. If you’re interested in that, stay tuned. If you like Porsche, follow P1D on UA-cam. Pilot and massive Porsche fanatic!
I have one of those nasty 951 944 turbo cars, lol. it has a boost controller and yeah at 16 pounds of boost it is a beast!! 2900 pounds and around 350 bhp at the crank it is zero to jail in about 10 seconds, lol. Porsche...there is no substitute!!
The 906 was (and still is) street legal in Germany, It is the last street legal racing Porsche and was marketed under the designation of «Carrera 6» for copyright reasons, because Peugeot owned (and still does) the rights for three digit type numbers using a zero in the middle.
I had this on VHS when I was in my teens! Thanks so much for posting it.

I've got the original vhs tape of this, can you believe it?
The 917 was only about 15 years old when this video was made. The RS Spyder and GT1 are older than that now. Crazy to think about.
I have this VHS thanks for uploading I really love this movie Thank you.
Loved it. Thanks for sharing it.
944 turbo , it s a very good car !
hervé legras I agree ! Track mine 4-5times a year 😄
Well done! Thank you!
Great docu but the stability correction is so annoying!
02:24 no seatbelts... lol
stole the idea from Tatra . Tatra sued and won, do your homework.
Tatra sued Volkswagen not Porsche.
