i wouldn't say she's unbeatable , even right now there are some dps that prefer tingyun over bronya like jinguan /clara/ dr.ratio ..., and dot teams usually prefer asta , and others like DHIL / Seele / QQ will prefer to play with sparkle , Bronya will stay an amazing support , but not really the best support in the game anymore

I'd say the opposite. I'm a Day 1 player and I don't want or need Ruan Mei despite how broken she is. She's universally strong so I think newbies would appreciate her more, especially with her break-effect oriented gameplay it would benefit new players much more than someone like Bronya early who wants a built hypercarry.

Whereas RM skill lasts for 3 turns that's based off her turn simila to FX, which means her buff wouldn't get tick down by JL action advance forward. Although bronya is still better for JL team comp.

nah ruan will just give you better option when fighting under certain circumstances. bronya actually gives better damage output and extra energy under certain build(when the dps is faster than bronya then said dps can just basic to generate extra energy) for a solo dps but ruan mei will probably the best value when an account is mature and have more dps and support of every element to fully take advantage of her full kit.
Yep Correct New players should not consider pulling for her if no well built dps is present. The only character that could "threaten" Bronya is Sparkle imo, but even then you can just put one of them on the other team so it doesn't even matter.
While I think Sparkle will push Bronya even farther down, Ruan Mei will still push Bronya further down the tier list ( I think all three will still be ranked S+ tier but the order of Bronya will go last). The primary reason is that Ruan Mei works in pretty much every scenario in which you'd want to use Bronya BUT Bronya doesn't work in every scenario in which you want to use Ruan Mei. Bronya is truly just best for hypercarry comps. She loses value in Dual DPS and DoT comps. More DPS characters that like being used in Dual DPS comps are being released (Clara, Blade, Jing Liu, Topaz, and soon Dr. Ratio).

While Having Sparkle you could now attached bronya to that DHIL comp instead of yukong which means Sparkle and Bronya could Push DHIL more frequent without worrying about the SP with HuoHuo sitting in the corner she could enable sparkle generate ton of SP with that energy regeneration this also where possibly luocha will be dethroned. who needs his SP positivity when you can shit ton generate a skill point and just nuke the enemy.
What i don't like about bronya is when u E jingliu and get her 2nd stack the dmg buff is gone when she goes into enhanced state since it only lasts 1 turn and her ult is pretty much useless on dot teams ruan mei on the other hand buffs for 3 entire turns and is more sp efficient Ruan mei > bronya 👏👏

Her skill is probably one of the most broken in the game considering how rare it is and how it can give players more of a chance to deal more blows to the enemy. Ruan Mei is more of an amplifying unit, but she isn’t as unique cuz any developers can slap the same types of break effect skill to another character. Ruan Mei is definitely going to be strong especially when she is being released but who knows if other characters in the future would provide the same buffs and debuffs. Since we still have 2.0 coming out with another harmony class character.
I don't get the hype, you have to match the element of enemies in order to abuse break efficiency, is not that everyone has 10+ well built teams right? Plus she is not quantum, so she doesn't work well with sw

This might not be the case if her skill gave flat dmg% that increases the more sp you use in that buffed state but from what it looks like only gamba girl and dhil will use her and even then DHIL current best team that uses Bronya can guarantee ULT every 2 rotations which would drastically lower his Skill point usage effectively turning DHIL only -1,-2 SP and pls keep in mind Hanabi gives more dmg% based off of how many SP the unit uses.

If you run Dan Heng IL or Seele as your main Dps, go for Sparkle, if you run literally any other Dps, Ruan mei. All of this can be ignored however if you have a character you want more. Pull for who you want, but if you only care about how op they'll make your team, use the above information

Yep SW could be a good synergy with Ruan Mei with how SW Break efficiency is really bonkers. They just both enable a DPS reach its more peak numbers. if you are a new player basically just build your DPS first so you can steam roll the content you could pull ruan mei in rerun

But the problem is, hsr meta will be more into dual comps anytime soon knowing we have teams like: 1. Jingliu+Blade comps 2. Jing Yuan+Topaz comps 3. Seele+SW sub dps comps 4. Dot comps 5. Himeko+Herta comps And dont forget clara+any dps comps Hypercarry still viable infact that's what every new or intermediate player have to runs for resource efficiency. But endgame player like us who now have many dps to fills, dual comps will become more shiny in hsr meta.

This has been going on like genshin who favor the enemy from the patch itself till the end of their game. HSR meta has been change alot because we can't take rest unlike genshin have some time for their meta spiral abyss. There's no staple meta in hsr their endgame can always change whenever the dev decide to for fck everyone up. That's why in future dual dps comps will be shine alot compared to usual hypercarry team that already been running for the past 8 month a row. Different at least. Bronya will stoll be better for solo hyper carries but RM will work with turn hogs and someone like Jing Yuen where you just super charge what he does instead or changing what he does in terms of rotation.

I know not everyone spends a lot on this game, but Bronya is still a 5 star who you can get for free just by playing the game even her lightcone, that's not something Ruan May is able to do. Lilbro, 25% all res pen is a literal 25% final dmg increase, Bronya's Ult CANT give that much. Maybe do some fact check first

If you run Dan Heng IL or Seele as your main Dps, go for Sparkle, if you run literally any other Dps, Ruan mei. All of this can be ignored however if you have a character you want more. Pull for who you want, but if you only care about how op they'll make your team, use the above information

as a relatively new player, she seems quite similar to Silver Wolf, I do wonder if I have SW, should I still pull for her?
Basically having SW saves you shit ton of resources.For Ruan Mei If you have well built DPS having her will unleashed her insane value. But if you have no well built DPS with those 100/200 crit ratios and at least 2800 atk its better to pull for her rerun.

Yep SW could be a good synergy with Ruan Mei with how SW Break efficiency is really bonkers. They just both enable a DPS reach its more peak numbers. if you are a new player basically just build your DPS first so you can steam roll the content you could pull ruan mei in rerun

Ruan mei will be better than bronya IN dual comps meta, but bronya still the best in hypercarry setup.
But the problem is, hsr meta will be more into dual comps anytime soon knowing we have teams like:
1. Jingliu+Blade comps
2. Jing Yuan+Topaz comps
3. Seele+SW sub dps comps
4. Dot comps
5. Himeko+Herta comps
And dont forget clara+any dps comps
Hypercarry still viable infact that's what every new or intermediate player have to runs for resource efficiency. But endgame player like us who now have many dps to fills, dual comps will become more shiny in hsr meta.
Thats a whale mindset right there. Contents in HSR is still clearable without those dual dps comp. With sparkle circling around that also providing advanced turns i dont think dual dps comp will dominate HSR meta and dual DPS is not anF2P option.

We already seen so many turbulence moc going on who indicates the team comps get hype like destruction meta, follow up meta, erudition meta and dont forget dot meta all of them got their spotlight whenever new character comes in the patch.
This has been going on like genshin who favor the enemy from the patch itself till the end of their game. HSR meta has been change alot because we can't take rest unlike genshin have some time for their meta spiral abyss.
There's no staple meta in hsr their endgame can always change whenever the dev decide to for fck everyone up. That's why in future dual dps comps will be shine alot compared to usual hypercarry team that already been running for the past 8 month a row. They have their place but not as shine as dual dps comps in short "viable but not optimal".

@@newmoonjoe5460 pen buff could also make clara ignore enemy weakness type but if its physical her damage will probably skyrocket specially in boss mobs that have high physical toughness bar

Different at least. Bronya will stoll be better for solo hyper carries but RM will work with turn hogs and someone like Jing Yuen where you just super charge what he does instead or changing what he does in terms of rotation.
I mean, I understand what you're saying, but for me personally there isn't much use in weaknessbreak weaknesses because as a whale they die before the shield is broken. I know not everyone spends a lot on this game, but Bronya is still a 5 star who you can get for free just by playing the game even her lightcone, that's not something Ruan May is able to do. I'm not saying you can't get a 5 star for free, but you still don't have to focus to get her and can save your stellar. In the end both are good in her own way and for me personally i dont summon for ruan mei i wait for hanabi aka sparkle because i like her design more and i hope she will be a good adition to my account because even as a whale there is no need to get every character trust me thats not worth at all
