Honorable mention, Jiaoqiu! For anyone that cannot pull for Robin but have him he's also a good sub, I have both Robin and Jiaoqiu and the difference is only 1 cycle. Do not fall to the fomo because she overkills EVERYTHING. I'll also share my team for anyone that might need to see Fei, Robin/Jiaoqiu, M7, Huohuo/Gallagoat or any +1 that can feed energy really. Once you build her well you will see she's not literally bound to Robin's soul. That being said having Robin is just a really good unit for your account and makes it ONLY easier, not a must. Have fun!

As someone who pulled for Feixiao and doesn't want pull for Robin (for now at least), I can say she is very strong, on pair with Acheron and Boothill even.
I just started playing with patch 2.2 and do not have a ton of options. I managed to pick up Ruan Mei and have mostly been using a Harmony MC team as my main team, but it gets really rough when I hit any content without consistent weaknesses to break. I don't have Acheron or Firefly or Ratio or really any 5* carries, so I was excited to pick up Feixiao. I have no regrets - I'm using her in a team with Gallagher, M7, and Bronya and it feels really good to use them all together. Gallagher and M7 generate just enough SP to power Bronya+Feixiao, and I time my ults for when I have all the Bronya buffs stacked for pretty solid damage. I'd pulled Bronya and randomly got her signature LC and it's been really silly up until now that I haven't had a team to use her in, and now I'm finally getting to use her as intended instead of letting all of that go to waste. Also, her design is just goddamn cool, one of the best looking characters I've seen in the game. Her technique is hilarious and also speeds up farming areas by a ton as well!
Im not going to be able to get robin this turn. Maybe in the future but i find that unless i care about 0 cycling or meta, these videos are just going to be entertaining to watch over being useful to me. I just pull on characters i like and throw them in whatever works for me. I can still clear all the games content.

I am in the same boat. I pull for characters I like first and see what I can do with them. Right now I can clear everything except for PF and only one star isn’t going to make a big difference. I remember pulling for META characters in Genshin just because they are META and it was miserable. 😅
@@teunbugwood Yeah I find that on the rougher PF or MoC i might be missing a single star, sometimes two and really it doesn't bother me. In the case that I desire that ONE star i find that if I really keep fiddling with my team comps, i'll get it eventually. No content is impossible in the game depending on how much you invest, I find.
I pulled and built Feixiao before I got Robin yesterday and I had plenty of success with her. My Robin is still level 1 and I am still using Feixiao successfully in endgame. Topaz works great, Hunt March works great. I think any sort of "Don't pull for Feixiao without Robin" is wildly exaggerated in my opinion. Is she great with Robin? Absolutely. But she's completely functional without her, and a good wind unit which we need more of. Nothing like Firefly without Ruan Mei/HTB. I think there will be more units in the future that work nicely with her as well. Plus the Bronya/Hanya/Support team works well too. If you like Feixiao or want Feixiao, pull for her. It's funny to me that on the one hand we have Mihoyo encouraging Fomo to make you want to pull for a character, but we have the community doing the exact opposite and making people scared of pulling for characters unless they have another five star. I understand encouraging smart pulling, but Feixiao is a perfectly solid character that most people can find use with, and wind is a useful element to have, with limited 5 star alternatives atm, with both others being niche kinda. Less important,s he's a nice QoL character. She makes farming and adventure mode in SU/DU easier.
Agreed only wind unit i got in reg Dan lol Fei was a breath of fresh air for me using her with march robin and bailu as i only started last month waiting for topaz and aventurine and i will be happy.
"Those who haven't March7th built" - please do build her, she's so fast and good with break teams, for any F2P account, she easily boosts your account. I have an alternative account that I started a week before Acheron's release, and thanks to March (as well as other characters like free-back-then Dr. Ratio) I could get 33 stars in MoC this patch, which is already the finish line for this account at this time (from my experience with Genshin, the transition from 33 to 36 on an F2P account takes some 2-3 months).
If you got Bronya your all set she's nothing compared to Robin but she gives a crap ton of Crit damage and gives advance forward for more attacks to stack your ultimate. Another team comp to try out is Yunli or Clara you'll keep stacking stacks for your ultimate from there counters so you build your ultimate up pretty quickly but best in slot as of now is Topaz for sub DPS to get stacks for your Feixiao. If you don't got Adventurine any healer can do honestly but Gallagher would be the best because of his ultimate to attack twice to stack Feixiao ultimate.
Counterpoint: This is Robin's rerun, ie it's less likely for her to get a rerun again so soon. Meanwhile, Feixiao's rerun is more likely and sooner. It would also help to see if she gets powercrept by then. CC love to go on about how every new characters is busted, since they're probably contractually obligated to and don't consider that new players have nowhere near the gear or traces that they have. By the time a new player gets to the level (if ever, since it's rng) that they are showcasing, that shiny new dps then would be old and busted by now. Case in point, Jingliu.
Context matters. In the title alone, it it's clearly this video made for someone who want feixiao but doesn't have other resource to pull for robin when Robin is pretty much her bread and butter. TLDR; context here is not about pull value, but what is alternative if you don't have their BiS support does she still work without her BiS or not.
commenters love to tell you to get a support with no dps and make you deal no damage because four star main damage dealers are trash without insane crit ratios

If they get Robin now, and save, they get Fexiao in just a few months and not have to worry about choosing between a dps and support. Not seeing how that logic is missing the context of the video. the neat thing about hsr is despite having no limited 5 star harmony, preserve, abundance, only nihil, hunt, erud, my account still could full clear all the rotating end game modes while still being f2p currently i used feixiao, bronya, topaz, (and any 4 star sustain) and cleared the current moc 12 its not 0 cyclr but its still 3 stars so a win is a win
I got both Feixiao and Robin but I still want to run Feixiao with Topaz and Moze. Just seeing constant fua attacks looks so much fun and satisfying. Plus I wanted to run Robin with my Acheron team ever since the Jiaoqiu + Robin comp was discovered which I am very happy with the performance!
Feixiao is God, but as someone who doesn't have any FUA units and already has the Acheron and FF teams, I'd rather save for future characters, it will be tough days with so much FOMO for Feixiao but hey, that's how Gachas are.
March Hunt is free and so are her Eidolons and she works really well with Feixiou. I used Sparkle, March, Fei, and Fu Xuan, and beat Apocalyptic Shadow easily. Just saying there are many options for Feixiou if you aren’t trying to 0 cycle or something.
First Release: many CC say she’s strong but niche, only playable with FUA teams. I’ll wait until my FUA team is complete before pulling her. I’ll skip this time and wait for the next rerun. First Rerun I already pulled Feixiao, but I don’t have enough Stellar Jade. I’ll definitely pull during the next rerun. Second Rerun Oh, too bad. I pulled for the new character already, but Robin feels too outdated. I’ll wait for a new buffer character instead.
i pulled for feixiao (hard pity) as a new player, it took me a week since i started, the difference in not having feixiao vs having her are day and night, and all feixiao needs so she can pop off like crazy is to be paired with hunt March 7 (which is free), or any other follow up character, she has become my favorite unit for going around maps and just cleaning all enemies with her technique, plus im doing content way above my level thanks to her, having a good character like her helps a new player like me to reach content faster (and also start saving currency faster)
If people already have both Firefly and Acheron, then their priority should be support characters instead of more DPS. I got both Jiaoqiu and Robin for this very reason. I would advise people to try to save some pulls for 2.7.
@@jessicara17 nah I mean the 5 star tingyun since lingsha is not necessary for upgrade from Gallagher unless you pull her E1. Tingyun looks like an upgrade from HMC which is way more important
E1S1 Bronya has been pretty fun with Feixiao so far, with Topaz as the other DPS. Even without Aventurine she still ults cery quickly and hits just as hard as Acheron with Bronya’s skill buff.
With how fast the meta changes, investing in at least a few premium supports(if you don't have any) is the way to go. Now, I loooove DPS characters BUT some of them just feel better to play with a core/ dedicated support. This is the case with Feixiao. However, I didn't have Robin so I went for her first instead. I can live with just waiting for Feixiao's rerun since realistically, I may not get Fei since I'm f2p. I will agree though, that even without Robin Monroe, Feixiao is still a powerhouse and can 3 cycle MoC 12 no problem with a sustain present.
Should you skip Feixiao if you dont have Robin? Short answer: depends. Long answer: she is still pretty good outside of Robin teams, but if you want her at tier 0 status then yeah you need Robin. I mean I used her in the trial with Bronya and it looked pretty good to me.

As An F2P Who Got Super Lucky And Got Robin And Feixiao IN 80 PULLS I For Sure Recommend Robin Because She Can Make Fodder Into A Meta Team. And Her Relics Are Easier To Build Then Feixao Most Important If Your Slow In The Story Like Me Don't Miss Out On Robin
She needs her(just like most fua team), but she can deal considerable amounts of damage without her aswell, my e0s0 feixiao can deal nearly 300k with mid build(70/150) and scuff team( bronya,ratio, gallagher)

I think the answer is yes and as a FF break team user, looks like I should get Lingsha, she is like a sub dps and healer in one. No regrets getting JQ for Archeron for a nice boost in damage.
That was my plan too as a f2p, to get e0s0 quick and keep saving. But I got Welt at 80, Robin at 76, Bailu at 75, then Feixiao at 34 and an extra Fei in the same 10 pull. Lucked out at the end but using up 280 f2p saved pulls hurts so so much. She's really fun but as a f2p I didn't NEED her as I can clear content already but I'm feeling a bit regretful now... :(
The priority of any player should be to pull for the characters they care about, first and foremost. Meta isn’t terribly important for a fun gaming experience, and you can always rely on reruns and even newer (and better) supports for your favorite DPSs and playstyles.

I have E2 Acheron and Firefly team so I think I'm good for a very long time, I tried pulling for Robin though but lost the 50/50 so I think it's better to just save my jades for now for 5 star Tingyun and 5 star Herta.
I have so many characters now even as an F2P cos I’m a Day1 player, and I had every harmony except for Robin, but I still chose her instead of Feixiao…even tho Feixiao was enticing for neuron-activation, but Ratio-Moze fulfills that now for me. I realized just how busted supports can be when I managed to clear the first Apoc Shadow with Seele, cos I had the help of E1 Sparkle and E1 Mei, all of which I managed to get with just free pulls. I guess Feixiao would’ve been a instant pick for me if my account was struggling, and if I didn’t have enough different types of damage dealers. I’m still rolling on the banners, hoping to get 2 more Moze for his E6…but I’m rolling on Robin still, instead of E0Feixiao cos E1 Robin for future-proofing just seems to be the smart choice for my account right now.
Fei is just the god of hsr if u pair her with Herta,Jade and aventurine and build Herta for 200spd like me and then go all in on energy recharge for both erudition units. This way they become breakers constantly attacking with their ults taking heat of you and charging fei all the time
Welkins only player got lucky and got both Fei xiao and Robin hoping i can get fei xiao ligh cone too. Im enjoying fua tean and break team definitely gonna get cons and light cone for firefly,ruan mei, fei xiao and robin. Might also get Acheron for my third team
gamer i'm gonna be honest with all the new characters coming out (Rappa, the Collab, the Supposed leak characters)... I don't have enough Jades to pull Robin AND all the other characters I want.
i didnt think robin was a must pull for feixiao. but luckily i got her on 50 pulls. it was either get her, build pity or get a guarantee for next character. now im at a rut on the next banner. Linshang is great for Firefly team to replace galagher. but on the other hand topaz is with her and would benefit my FUA team. if i get her then i have 2 team for FUA incase MOC requires 2 teams. but on the other hand Firefly would benefit with a support and healer in the team. as soon as the 2nd banner comes ill have 160 pulls available but i hope i can at least get the characters. i can get the LC next time.
Omg hoyo must love me. One multi pull and got two feixiao. I stopped there but tried 1 pull on robin for fun and got robin lol. 11 pulls used and got 3 five star. Wooh f2p eating good
Thanks for this video, I agree newer accounts, even with Acheron and Dr. Ratio will benefit more from Feixiao than Robin. Now, if I have Boothill and Acheron, do I need Feixiao? Or is it more useful to wait for Acheron banner to get her signature LC?
If I wanted to run Jiaoqiu (E0S1) with (feixiao e0s0), (Moze e4s0) and (ghallager e6s0), would it be worth pulling feixiao? since Jiaoqiu is also on my acheron team with universal market LC gepard, and pela? or should I pull robin, since I have no limited harmony units, (besides, bronya e0s0 but she's not really limited) and then wait for feixiao's rerun? would really like to know. (+ I don't really have another cohesive team for endgame content, so I'm going to need a DPS anyways, and I don't think Ratio hypercarry is a thing, since I don't have any of premium FUA units)
I’m not sure about E0 Moze…but I feels like he really start becoming playable at E2. I managed to clear Kafka in current apoc shadow with Moze…but all his talents weren’t leveled at all. My team has a decently built Ratio, Aventurine, and a newly acquired Robin with Bronya’s cone. Moze helped this team clear by just having prey as a debuff for Ratio, and E2 making Ratio deal more crit dmg.
I'm a casual player and feixiao cleared MOC 12 first half in 5 cycles with asta, march 2nd and luocha with dogshit relics and herta shop cone. Traces are half done and only 10 crit rolls among all 6 relics
I wanted to skip Feixiao for E2 Acheron, but she is simply too powerful if you have Robin. HM7 is literally free and her perfect synergy since she buffs, attacks a lot and is +1 SP/turn. Add in another support or Aventurine and you have a 0-cycle team.
Pulled Kafka and skipping Feixiao. DPS is temporary, specialists and supports are forever (kinda sorta before HSR power creeps them in 6-12 months but at least more longevity than DPS…)
I was going tor e2 moze and won 50-50 to feixaio early after i got robin Now am at 80 pity after getting feixiao and only have e1 moze and i didnt even notice i had drawn so much Looks like will have to give up on Acheron LC to save for Adventurine☠️
Question: Say I have Fei Xiao and Robin already, should I go for Fei Xiao's light cone or try for E1 Robin? I was thinking I should try for E1 Robin since the penetration kinda makes up for the defense ignore on Fei xiao's lightcone. Plus there's the added benefit of snagging some more Moze Eidolons.
Should I get Feixiao if I have Robin? That’s the real dilemma I’m having. She looks fun and I dont have any FUA aside from Clara, but my Firefly and Archeron teams just easily cleared all the end game stuff.
Same dilemma here. But I'm more inclined to play many different teams than one very good team so I will be trying for Feixiao. Also Hunt March is FUA so you already have a decent FUA team if you get Feixiao, just add whatever sustain.
@@iNovak-HSR imo Robin is just so good for FUA, in my case I use Herta instead of Xueyi and Robin makes her deal so much damage I can use Herta outside PF. If you have no limited dps then you can pull Feixiao, otherwise you should get Robin, but I'd advise getting Robin regardless.
in my case ( does 81 days old account considered newbie ?) robin pull was very huge boost. and i just pair her with yunli+march and sweep all last stage in memory of chaos, pure fiction (its yunli+jade tho) and 4th stage of apocalypse shadow. truly game changing character considering feixiao with maybe 50-60 pull in the last day, hopefully can get her
Yes that is a newbie account (you’ve played the game for 2 patches only). I’d say late game acc is 1+ years old. I started playing since release and I almost have every character in the game (did get very lucky with 50/50s tbh). In my personal opinion I think our foxian lady will get power dept rather fast tbh. Hunt characters tend to get crept way too fast and struggle a lot in content with many enemies. Even tho she’s far more powerful than Seele, I stopped using her rather fast as she’s become very hard to make work. Truth is, every character can work if you invest enough into them
@@hrck0 Truly as cute anime girl collector mindset for sure i pull for feixiao (the art is to good), im trying to get all of em ofc. so far i got all the banner (the new one, except the dude with feixiao) from the start i play the game. but with how all the resource from main story + past event depleted im soon wont manage to do that going onward lol. maybe if i lucky with fei i can go for her lc or kafka and as you stated its hard to decently invest (in term of eidolons or copy of signature LC) in the first launch except you prepare for it in their rerun. as for now im just try to collect as much cute girl as possible :D

I missed out on Jiaoqiu because people kept saying that he's just an updated version of Guinefan... And then I thought I'd get Kafka for acheron.... I don't know what to do anymore and
I feel like what you said is pretty valid for newer players, but almost all can also be said about skipping feixiao for robin. Because not only she'll make whoever your early game dps way stronger than other early supports, but her ult's extra hit is additive and standalone. So no matter how garbage your current dps build is, robin's dmg output is untainted. Plus since feixiao's a debut unit, we'll be getting her rerun very soon, sooner than next robin at least. But there's no definitive answer to who should you skip/pull first so pick your poison ig.
E1 Robin is better in terms of vertical investment as there is no source of all type res pen for followup team otherwise and this is the stat you need to dominate off element content. If you already have that than S1 Topaz gets you a good debuff that allows you to fully take advantage of pioneer relic set crit rate and crit dmg boosts(8% crit rate and 24% crit dmg) and is good on all current followup Hunt characters.

Jiaoqiu isn't useless without Acheron, he's just BiS with her. U can use Jiaoqiu in any comp where your main DPS has an ult focus (i.e., Acheron, Argenti, Yunli, etc.). As for who to go for, I would definitely choose Feixiao over Acheron, especially for how unique she is and with the lack of premium Wind DPS.
See this is prime evidence, don’t listen to people because Jiao is not useless without Acheron, I pulled him and don’t have Acheron and he’s been a great addition to my lineup, defense vulnerability and ultimate buff is nothing to scoff at.
I like Robin as a character, both her songs and her story. I only dislike how her utility is super backloaded into her ult. It also seems like instead of ever rerunning DDD in the lightcone banner, they would rather you pull for an entire character. That's a pretty cunning marketing move but I'm not going to be persuaded. Other prominent Harmony characters have their utility spread out much more evenly throughout their kit. Think Ruan Mei, Sparkle, Bronya. Their ults are obviously good, but it's not the crutch of their utility.
After watching these for a long time. I suddenly stopped playing the game. You don't get to enjoy playing anymore because you need this and that. So good luck to newbies and F2Ps.
Feixiao is not Fua dependebnt though. FUA is not her only good team. She does well in normal break comps and as a traditional hypercarry. Her ultimate destroys any single target opponent. Its just a matter of uptime. You can achieve this by turn manipulation of her, or by characters with high speed.
In my case, my FUA roster is pretty much set. With the exception of Aventurine since I had pulled for Acheron at the time, Feixiao (and light cone) has pretty much helped become the FUA main of my roster. So does Hypercarry but that's another thing not related to this. Same goes for DoT since I keep missing out on the core limited characters for that archetype. If your getting Feixiao I think she is still worth it as a powerful but more importantly functional DPS character. If your willing to sacrifice the buffs a Harmony provides for more DPS that is also an option to me. So long as character actions for FUA attacks keep coming and fills her gauge faster that is also a viable method as well.
thanks for this video a week ago, i was pulling for robin and given how i already lost on her banner twice to yanqing on both runs i was q drained i made the mistake of doing a one pull on feixiao and then accidentally got it and was so ashamed i quit now that you've said that feixiao can perform w/o robin; i'm not so bummed out now my current set up will now be: Feixiao, March 7th, Topaz, Fu Xuan i joined in 2.2 so i couldn't get aventurine, and my first limited 5* was topaz i still want to know if my setup is good enough as a second team so do let me know what to take note of in replies
EOD and community members I need your help. I got Feixiao and I’m 20 pity deep (my first s rank), should I pull for robin or topaz? I really like topaz as a character and FUA teams are definitely my favourite. But I know robin is very strong, please give advice 🙏🏻
To be honest everyone will say robin but I promise you there is a leak of a support that is best for followups coming out few months . I'm waiting to see all the cryingface when she comes out and robin becomes obsolete lol
im feeling a bit depressed after throwing my 280 f2p saved pulls into getting BOTH robin and feixiao. I lost my 50/50 both times despite lucking out with an E1 Feixiao double at the end. I wish i had waited a few days for people's testing because I have Jiaoqiu, Ruan Mei, Sparkle - a lot of other supports but felt like I HAD to pull for Robin before even considering Feixiao and now I'm broke af. Wish I had just gone for Feixiao first, seen how she felt without Robin before draining all my pulls. :( I really needed to not use all my pulls as I'm saving for reruns + new characters but oh well....
Considering I don't want to play Ratio even tho ik how great him and Topaz are as a combo, I feel validated from this video. It means very little if you don't like them. It's one of the reasons I rolled for Feixiao other than being wind element and also a really cool General. I didn't want to have to roll for a Hunt unit again. Now I can combo her with Topaz who's one of my favs as well and Ratio can rest without barely having been played.
i mean if you've done literally everything there is to do in the game (including sim uni stuff maxed) and you're f2p then you'll get like 10 pulls max or something along those lines otherwise start doing quests and exploration, in just a few days while i caught up with the story as i haven't played since 2.1 i've gotten a good 100+ pulls just from playing the game and i still need to do all the new sim uni stuff so i'll get another like 10-20 pulls from that i presume. Thankfully i have a lot of free time before i start uni so i can grind as much as i want.

Honestly you won already getting Robin. Just try best you can to get Feixiao by the end of the banner, and build other teams for Robin because she'll carry you regardless
You might be able to get 40 pulls before the next banner comes assuming you do all the events this patch and keep logging in. There is always the option of saving up your resources for something else for 2.7.
I wanted moze but I got fei xiao on 25 pity. My plan actually was to pull e2 moze and then save for Acheron and def pull fei on her rerun. But now that I have fei I’m feeling tempted to pull for Robin 😭😭 I want both Robin and Acheron so bad
I just dont like these filler patches that new characters show up for 2 patches and then disappear. Robin all the way literally the best unit in the game.

As someone who pulled for Feixiao and doesn't want pull for Robin (for now at least), I can say she is very strong, on pair with Acheron and Boothill even.

I just started playing with patch 2.2 and do not have a ton of options. I managed to pick up Ruan Mei and have mostly been using a Harmony MC team as my main team, but it gets really rough when I hit any content without consistent weaknesses to break. I don't have Acheron or Firefly or Ratio or really any 5* carries, so I was excited to pick up Feixiao.
I have no regrets - I'm using her in a team with Gallagher, M7, and Bronya and it feels really good to use them all together. Gallagher and M7 generate just enough SP to power Bronya+Feixiao, and I time my ults for when I have all the Bronya buffs stacked for pretty solid damage. I'd pulled Bronya and randomly got her signature LC and it's been really silly up until now that I haven't had a team to use her in, and now I'm finally getting to use her as intended instead of letting all of that go to waste.
Also, her design is just goddamn cool, one of the best looking characters I've seen in the game. Her technique is hilarious and also speeds up farming areas by a ton as well!

Im not going to be able to get robin this turn. Maybe in the future but i find that unless i care about 0 cycling or meta, these videos are just going to be entertaining to watch over being useful to me.
I just pull on characters i like and throw them in whatever works for me. I can still clear all the games content.

I am in the same boat. I pull for characters I like first and see what I can do with them. Right now I can clear everything except for PF and only one star isn’t going to make a big difference. I remember pulling for META characters in Genshin just because they are META and it was miserable. 😅
@@teunbugwood Yeah I find that on the rougher PF or MoC i might be missing a single star, sometimes two and really it doesn't bother me. In the case that I desire that ONE star i find that if I really keep fiddling with my team comps, i'll get it eventually.

I pulled and built Feixiao before I got Robin yesterday and I had plenty of success with her. My Robin is still level 1 and I am still using Feixiao successfully in endgame. Topaz works great, Hunt March works great. I think any sort of "Don't pull for Feixiao without Robin" is wildly exaggerated in my opinion. Is she great with Robin? Absolutely. But she's completely functional without her, and a good wind unit which we need more of. Nothing like Firefly without Ruan Mei/HTB. I think there will be more units in the future that work nicely with her as well. Plus the Bronya/Hanya/Support team works well too.
If you like Feixiao or want Feixiao, pull for her. It's funny to me that on the one hand we have Mihoyo encouraging Fomo to make you want to pull for a character, but we have the community doing the exact opposite and making people scared of pulling for characters unless they have another five star. I understand encouraging smart pulling, but Feixiao is a perfectly solid character that most people can find use with, and wind is a useful element to have, with limited 5 star alternatives atm, with both others being niche kinda.
Less important,s he's a nice QoL character. She makes farming and adventure mode in SU/DU easier.

"Those who haven't March7th built" - please do build her, she's so fast and good with break teams, for any F2P account, she easily boosts your account. I have an alternative account that I started a week before Acheron's release, and thanks to March (as well as other characters like free-back-then Dr. Ratio) I could get 33 stars in MoC this patch, which is already the finish line for this account at this time (from my experience with Genshin, the transition from 33 to 36 on an F2P account takes some 2-3 months).

If you got Bronya your all set she's nothing compared to Robin but she gives a crap ton of Crit damage and gives advance forward for more attacks to stack your ultimate. Another team comp to try out is Yunli or Clara you'll keep stacking stacks for your ultimate from there counters so you build your ultimate up pretty quickly but best in slot as of now is Topaz for sub DPS to get stacks for your Feixiao. If you don't got Adventurine any healer can do honestly but Gallagher would be the best because of his ultimate to attack twice to stack Feixiao ultimate.

Counterpoint: This is Robin's rerun, ie it's less likely for her to get a rerun again so soon. Meanwhile, Feixiao's rerun is more likely and sooner. It would also help to see if she gets powercrept by then.
CC love to go on about how every new characters is busted, since they're probably contractually obligated to and don't consider that new players have nowhere near the gear or traces that they have. By the time a new player gets to the level (if ever, since it's rng) that they are showcasing, that shiny new dps then would be old and busted by now. Case in point, Jingliu.
Plus since DPS gets power crept sooner than support, Robin has more future relevance.
Context matters. In the title alone, it it's clearly this video made for someone who want feixiao but doesn't have other resource to pull for robin when Robin is pretty much her bread and butter. TLDR; context here is not about pull value, but what is alternative if you don't have their BiS support does she still work without her BiS or not.
commenters love to tell you to get a support with no dps and make you deal no damage because four star main damage dealers are trash without insane crit ratios

the neat thing about hsr is despite having no limited 5 star harmony, preserve, abundance, only nihil, hunt, erud, my account still could full clear all the rotating end game modes while still being f2p
currently i used feixiao, bronya, topaz, (and any 4 star sustain) and cleared the current moc 12
its not 0 cyclr but its still 3 stars so a win is a win
I got both Feixiao and Robin but I still want to run Feixiao with Topaz and Moze. Just seeing constant fua attacks looks so much fun and satisfying. Plus I wanted to run Robin with my Acheron team ever since the Jiaoqiu + Robin comp was discovered which I am very happy with the performance!
I actually prefer E6 March7 over E2 Moze from what I’ve tried so far with Robin+Feixiao
Feixiao is God, but as someone who doesn't have any FUA units and already has the Acheron and FF teams, I'd rather save for future characters, it will be tough days with so much FOMO for Feixiao but hey, that's how Gachas are.
March Hunt is free and so are her Eidolons and she works really well with Feixiou.
I used Sparkle, March, Fei, and Fu Xuan, and beat Apocalyptic Shadow easily.
Just saying there are many options for Feixiou if you aren’t trying to 0 cycle or something.

Second Rerun Oh, too bad. I pulled for the new character already, but Robin feels too outdated. I’ll wait for a new buffer character instead.
i pulled for feixiao (hard pity) as a new player, it took me a week since i started, the difference in not having feixiao vs having her are day and night, and all feixiao needs so she can pop off like crazy is to be paired with hunt March 7 (which is free), or any other follow up character, she has become my favorite unit for going around maps and just cleaning all enemies with her technique, plus im doing content way above my level thanks to her, having a good character like her helps a new player like me to reach content faster (and also start saving currency faster)
If people already have both Firefly and Acheron, then their priority should be support characters instead of more DPS. I got both Jiaoqiu and Robin for this very reason. I would advise people to try to save some pulls for 2.7.

Bruh I got Bronya after 78 pulls and I've done another 45 and no Feixiao.
E1S1 Bronya has been pretty fun with Feixiao so far, with Topaz as the other DPS. Even without Aventurine she still ults cery quickly and hits just as hard as Acheron with Bronya’s skill buff.
With how fast the meta changes, investing in at least a few premium supports(if you don't have any) is the way to go. Now, I loooove DPS characters BUT some of them just feel better to play with a core/ dedicated support. This is the case with Feixiao. However, I didn't have Robin so I went for her first instead. I can live with just waiting for Feixiao's rerun since realistically, I may not get Fei since I'm f2p.
I will agree though, that even without Robin Monroe, Feixiao is still a powerhouse and can 3 cycle MoC 12 no problem with a sustain present.
My Feixiao does 200K damage without Robin, and I expect there to be an wee upgrade after I pull Robin ☝🏻
Should you skip Feixiao if you dont have Robin? Short answer: depends. Long answer: she is still pretty good outside of Robin teams, but if you want her at tier 0 status then yeah you need Robin. I mean I used her in the trial with Bronya and it looked pretty good to me.

I think the answer is yes and as a FF break team user, looks like I should get Lingsha, she is like a sub dps and healer in one. No regrets getting JQ for Archeron for a nice boost in damage.
In my genuine opinion, FEI Xiao is still viable without robin, u can go bronya or jiaoqiu and sub dps March or moze, she's a very fun unit so :))

That was my plan too as a f2p, to get e0s0 quick and keep saving. But I got Welt at 80, Robin at 76, Bailu at 75, then Feixiao at 34 and an extra Fei in the same 10 pull. Lucked out at the end but using up 280 f2p saved pulls hurts so so much. She's really fun but as a f2p I didn't NEED her as I can clear content already but I'm feeling a bit regretful now... :(

The priority of any player should be to pull for the characters they care about, first and foremost. Meta isn’t terribly important for a fun gaming experience, and you can always rely on reruns and even newer (and better) supports for your favorite DPSs and playstyles.
I like Feixiao with March and Moze + sustain (I usually go Huo Huo in my FUA teams), occasionally switch one of them with Topaz or Ratio with Topaz LC

I have E2 Acheron and Firefly team so I think I'm good for a very long time, I tried pulling for Robin though but lost the 50/50 so I think it's better to just save my jades for now for 5 star Tingyun and 5 star Herta.
I have so many characters now even as an F2P cos I’m a Day1 player, and I had every harmony except for Robin, but I still chose her instead of Feixiao…even tho Feixiao was enticing for neuron-activation, but Ratio-Moze fulfills that now for me.
I realized just how busted supports can be when I managed to clear the first Apoc Shadow with Seele, cos I had the help of E1 Sparkle and E1 Mei, all of which I managed to get with just free pulls.
I guess Feixiao would’ve been a instant pick for me if my account was struggling, and if I didn’t have enough different types of damage dealers.
I’m still rolling on the banners, hoping to get 2 more Moze for his E6…but I’m rolling on Robin still, instead of E0Feixiao cos E1 Robin for future-proofing just seems to be the smart choice for my account right now.
Fei is just the god of hsr if u pair her with Herta,Jade and aventurine and build Herta for 200spd like me and then go all in on energy recharge for both erudition units.
This way they become breakers constantly attacking with their ults taking heat of you and charging fei all the time
Welkins only player got lucky and got both Fei xiao and Robin hoping i can get fei xiao ligh cone too. Im enjoying fua tean and break team definitely gonna get cons and light cone for firefly,ruan mei, fei xiao and robin. Might also get Acheron for my third team
I daresay even if you use an E0 Acheron, Robin is a very useful pull to improve your Acheron team.
gamer i'm gonna be honest with all the new characters coming out (Rappa, the Collab, the Supposed leak characters)... I don't have enough Jades to pull Robin AND all the other characters I want.
i didnt think robin was a must pull for feixiao. but luckily i got her on 50 pulls. it was either get her, build pity or get a guarantee for next character. now im at a rut on the next banner. Linshang is great for Firefly team to replace galagher. but on the other hand topaz is with her and would benefit my FUA team. if i get her then i have 2 team for FUA incase MOC requires 2 teams. but on the other hand Firefly would benefit with a support and healer in the team. as soon as the 2nd banner comes ill have 160 pulls available but i hope i can at least get the characters. i can get the LC next time.

Short answer Yes skip Feixiao if ur not a fan of fua team and don't plan on pulling robin in the future.
If I wanted to run Jiaoqiu (E0S1) with (feixiao e0s0), (Moze e4s0) and (ghallager e6s0), would it be worth pulling feixiao? since Jiaoqiu is also on my acheron team with universal market LC gepard, and pela? or should I pull robin, since I have no limited harmony units, (besides, bronya e0s0 but she's not really limited) and then wait for feixiao's rerun? would really like to know. (+ I don't really have another cohesive team for endgame content, so I'm going to need a DPS anyways, and I don't think Ratio hypercarry is a thing, since I don't have any of premium FUA units)

I’m not sure about E0 Moze…but I feels like he really start becoming playable at E2. I managed to clear Kafka in current apoc shadow with Moze…but all his talents weren’t leveled at all. My team has a decently built Ratio, Aventurine, and a newly acquired Robin with Bronya’s cone. Moze helped this team clear by just having prey as a debuff for Ratio, and E2 making Ratio deal more crit dmg.

I've been saving for Acheron since I pulled Firefly, but now I'm SO TORN.
I'm a casual player and feixiao cleared MOC 12 first half in 5 cycles with asta, march 2nd and luocha with dogshit relics and herta shop cone. Traces are half done and only 10 crit rolls among all 6 relics
I wanted to skip Feixiao for E2 Acheron, but she is simply too powerful if you have Robin. HM7 is literally free and her perfect synergy since she buffs, attacks a lot and is +1 SP/turn. Add in another support or Aventurine and you have a 0-cycle team.
Pulled Kafka and skipping Feixiao. DPS is temporary, specialists and supports are forever (kinda sorta before HSR power creeps them in 6-12 months but at least more longevity than DPS…)
In 2 patches that comp is going to get a support and suddenly it will all be worthwhile.

Same dilemma here. But I'm more inclined to play many different teams than one very good team so I will be trying for Feixiao. Also Hunt March is FUA so you already have a decent FUA team if you get Feixiao, just add whatever sustain.
@@iNovak-HSR imo Robin is just so good for FUA, in my case I use Herta instead of Xueyi and Robin makes her deal so much damage I can use Herta outside PF. If you have no limited dps then you can pull Feixiao, otherwise you should get Robin, but I'd advise getting Robin regardless.

robin pull was very huge boost. and i just pair her with yunli+march and sweep all last stage in memory of chaos, pure fiction (its yunli+jade tho) and 4th stage of apocalypse shadow. truly game changing character

Yes that is a newbie account (you’ve played the game for 2 patches only). I’d say late game acc is 1+ years old. I started playing since release and I almost have every character in the game (did get very lucky with 50/50s tbh). In my personal opinion I think our foxian lady will get power dept rather fast tbh. Hunt characters tend to get crept way too fast and struggle a lot in content with many enemies. Even tho she’s far more powerful than Seele, I stopped using her rather fast as she’s become very hard to make work. Truth is, every character can work if you invest enough into them

I feel like what you said is pretty valid for newer players, but almost all can also be said about skipping feixiao for robin.
Because not only she'll make whoever your early game dps way stronger than other early supports, but her ult's extra hit is additive and standalone. So no matter how garbage your current dps build is, robin's dmg output is untainted.
Plus since feixiao's a debut unit, we'll be getting her rerun very soon, sooner than next robin at least. But there's no definitive answer to who should you skip/pull first so pick your poison ig.
Would going for topaz next banner or feixiaos lightcone be a better investment for a fua team. I already have robin
E1 Robin is better in terms of vertical investment as there is no source of all type res pen for followup team otherwise and this is the stat you need to dominate off element content. If you already have that than S1 Topaz gets you a good debuff that allows you to fully take advantage of pioneer relic set crit rate and crit dmg boosts(8% crit rate and 24% crit dmg) and is good on all current followup Hunt characters.

Jiaoqiu isn't useless without Acheron, he's just BiS with her. U can use Jiaoqiu in any comp where your main DPS has an ult focus (i.e., Acheron, Argenti, Yunli, etc.). As for who to go for, I would definitely choose Feixiao over Acheron, especially for how unique she is and with the lack of premium Wind DPS.
See this is prime evidence, don’t listen to people because Jiao is not useless without Acheron, I pulled him and don’t have Acheron and he’s been a great addition to my lineup, defense vulnerability and ultimate buff is nothing to scoff at.

I like Robin as a character, both her songs and her story.
I only dislike how her utility is super backloaded into her ult. It also seems like instead of ever rerunning DDD in the lightcone banner, they would rather you pull for an entire character. That's a pretty cunning marketing move but I'm not going to be persuaded.
Other prominent Harmony characters have their utility spread out much more evenly throughout their kit. Think Ruan Mei, Sparkle, Bronya. Their ults are obviously good, but it's not the crutch of their utility.
After watching these for a long time. I suddenly stopped playing the game. You don't get to enjoy playing anymore because you need this and that. So good luck to newbies and F2Ps.

You can make do with no robin but don't expect your feixiao will do crazy numbers. Robin is crucial for fua team.
Feixiao is not Fua dependebnt though. FUA is not her only good team.
She does well in normal break comps and as a traditional hypercarry.
Her ultimate destroys any single target opponent. Its just a matter of uptime. You can achieve this by turn manipulation of her, or by characters with high speed.
In my case, my FUA roster is pretty much set. With the exception of Aventurine since I had pulled for Acheron at the time, Feixiao (and light cone) has pretty much helped become the FUA main of my roster.
So does Hypercarry but that's another thing not related to this. Same goes for DoT since I keep missing out on the core limited characters for that archetype.
If your getting Feixiao I think she is still worth it as a powerful but more importantly functional DPS character. If your willing to sacrifice the buffs a Harmony provides for more DPS that is also an option to me. So long as character actions for FUA attacks keep coming and fills her gauge faster that is also a viable method as well.

i made the mistake of doing a one pull on feixiao and then accidentally got it and was so ashamed i quit
now that you've said that feixiao can perform w/o robin; i'm not so bummed out now
my current set up will now be:
Feixiao, March 7th, Topaz, Fu Xuan
i joined in 2.2 so i couldn't get aventurine, and my first limited 5* was topaz
i still want to know if my setup is good enough as a second team so do let me know what to take note of in replies

I use e1 ruin mei. Probably not as good, but it gets the job done 😂
I started with 150 pulls and ended up with E2gepard 1 robin at the end I wanted feixiao 😭😭😭

aventurine since ur team has a sub dps march and needs a sustain
Adventurine since you already have March (unless you want to replace your March) if you can get both then go for it, but if not just get Adventurine.

EOD and community members I need your help. I got Feixiao and I’m 20 pity deep (my first s rank), should I pull for robin or topaz? I really like topaz as a character and FUA teams are definitely my favourite. But I know robin is very strong, please give advice 🙏🏻
To be honest everyone will say robin but I promise you there is a leak of a support that is best for followups coming out few months . I'm waiting to see all the cryingface when she comes out and robin becomes obsolete lol

I really dont think any new player should take Feixiao over Robin. Robin is the core to FUA comps. Shes like Ruan Mei for break

im feeling a bit depressed after throwing my 280 f2p saved pulls into getting BOTH robin and feixiao. I lost my 50/50 both times despite lucking out with an E1 Feixiao double at the end. I wish i had waited a few days for people's testing because I have Jiaoqiu, Ruan Mei, Sparkle - a lot of other supports but felt like I HAD to pull for Robin before even considering Feixiao and now I'm broke af. Wish I had just gone for Feixiao first, seen how she felt without Robin before draining all my pulls. :( I really needed to not use all my pulls as I'm saving for reruns + new characters but oh well....
So basically to summarise……pull Robin 😂
Considering I don't want to play Ratio even tho ik how great him and Topaz are as a combo, I feel validated from this video. It means very little if you don't like them. It's one of the reasons I rolled for Feixiao other than being wind element and also a really cool General. I didn't want to have to roll for a Hunt unit again. Now I can combo her with Topaz who's one of my favs as well and Ratio can rest without barely having been played.
Just Got Robin But lost 50 50 on feixiao now what do I do? How many pulls do we get till the end of the patch rn im at 30 pity
i mean if you've done literally everything there is to do in the game (including sim uni stuff maxed) and you're f2p then you'll get like 10 pulls max or something along those lines otherwise start doing quests and exploration, in just a few days while i caught up with the story as i haven't played since 2.1 i've gotten a good 100+ pulls just from playing the game and i still need to do all the new sim uni stuff so i'll get another like 10-20 pulls from that i presume.
Thankfully i have a lot of free time before i start uni so i can grind as much as i want.

Honestly you won already getting Robin. Just try best you can to get Feixiao by the end of the banner, and build other teams for Robin because she'll carry you regardless

You might be able to get 40 pulls before the next banner comes assuming you do all the events this patch and keep logging in. There is always the option of saving up your resources for something else for 2.7.

There are more teams that work with her than that dont.

I wanted moze but I got fei xiao on 25 pity. My plan actually was to pull e2 moze and then save for Acheron and def pull fei on her rerun. But now that I have fei I’m feeling tempted to pull for Robin 😭😭

I just dont like these filler patches that new characters show up for 2 patches and then disappear. Robin all the way literally the best unit in the game.
